The customer service here is ridiculous. I was going to arrive late in the night and made an appointment to sign the lease and get the keys, but nobody showed up. They didn't pick up the phone either. Ended up staying in a hotel. The next day they said they 'misunderstood' my arrival date and confused pm for am. What displeases me the most is that they didn't even apologize saying it's my fault because ""obviously they aren't open that late"".\r

Nor did they offer any discount. What's more, they said there's an extra $250 monthly fee for less-than-6-months rental which they didn't mention earlier. If that wasn't enough, the manager tried to convince me to rent the apartment for 6 mo claiming ""it would be cheaper"" making up some BS calculations that didn't make sense.\r

Then, they don't accept credit cards or checks. That's a standard, but again - not even a word before I arrived.\r

If that wasn't enough. They wanted me to pay in advance for the rest of the month and then the whole next month just because it was pas 15th. Plus $500 deposit.\r

I only gave 2 stars because the apartments are relatively good for the money paid in this area. I ended up renting at a different place and would recommend that to everyone considering Old Orchard.
