I am forced to disagree with a previous review written here. I happen to know the staff of LBC Daycare very well, having worked with them in the past. These ladies deal with situations that most of us would rather not deal with. There are cases of divorced parents, single parents, parents on substance abuse, parents in jail, the list goes on. There are also some very decent, good, hard-working parents, but unfortunately, these are the minority. This staff does an outstanding job with taking care of children who come from these dysfunctional situations. It is telling when some of these children prefer to be with their caregivers than with their own parents. I do not know who wrote so negatively about Glenda in particular, but nothing could be further from the truth. It is true that Glenda is tough, but you have to be in that neighborhood. I know her to be sweet, caring, and fair, as well as tough. The kids and parents love her because she is straight with them. Honesty and integrity go a long way. For those of you who read these reviews, I urge you to trust in my assessment and disregard the negative one. You can probably do no better in a daycare center than Lynhurst Baptist Church. more

LBC Preschool Ministry now accepts children from walking independently, even if still wearing diapers; however children can not use bottles for drinking. Also, children in grades Pre-K through 4th grade at Maplewood Elementary School are accepted for before and after school care and during school vacations. Prices have not increased. more

This facility is a clean, parent and child friendly, Bible based preschool which is operated by the Lynhurst Baptist Church. Children from fully potty trained through Preschool age will find a small ratio of children to teacher, activity filled curriculum awaiting them each day. Age appropriate lessons are a part of the morning activities along with special classes of Art, Music, gymnastics, physical activity and Chapel. Following each afternoon there is a healthy snack for all the children. There is always time for play and learning socialization skills! The Preschool also offers a limited number of spots for before and after school care for children in grades K through 2 who attend Maplewood Elementary School in MSD Wayne Township of Marion County, Indiana. Daily and weekly rates are very reasonable for the working class family. CCDF is available for families using that program Children will see, hear and realize that God loves them, and so do the people at LBC Preschool Ministry. more
