We've all been to salons of various types to get our hair done, to get that ""something special"" done to make us feel and look our best. What I'd like to say is LUXE A Boutique Salon really DELIVERS those results! Nina Grossman, the owner and master stylist, has captured the essence of what a good salon is from the elegant, yet contemporary feel of the salon, to the ""down-to-earth"" feeling you get when you walk in the door, to the professionalism of the staff and to the quality of your experience. It is all there at Luxe in Lakeway, TX. I've known Nina for several years and each time I go to get my hair done I'm never disappointed, in fact she knows better than I do what needs to be done to my hair to make it work each time and that varies with the season, weather we are having here in TX and my wishes. She and her staff work really hard to ""listen"" to what is working and what is not about you and then DELIVERS results every time. I'm so grateful for this opportunity to tell the world that, after moving to Texas five months ago, I found a GEM! An Absolute GEM - Veronica Giles. I've been known to follow my stylists even by plane if need be, so you can imagine how picky I am. I would have never found this incredible talent, if it wasn't for a lady at a restaurant, who sported the most beautiful blond hair adorned with soft, natural looking, very artistic, gorgeous highlights. This was a hair on par with Jennifer Aniston perfection, which I gave up on as" non-existent". I HAD TO ask who does this here in town. The gracious lady gave me Veronica's card and said she'd never dream of anyone else touching her hair. She's been following Veronica everywhere. The lady was a mature, beautiful woman with a taste, believe me. I knew that I had to go there. Veronica was so thoughtful, she actually asked me to email her my pictures ahead of appointment, so she can start planning on how to best execute my color. By the time I showed up, she said "I already know what to do". I winced, BUT - I left with the most gorgeous, fabulous, natural looking blond hair with whisper-fine highlights. My hair looked SO NATURAL, that people just do not believe it isn't my own. My adult son and husband gasped. Let me say, this hair took 20 years off me, in addition to the 20 years it took me to find this kind of ART. The best part is that I've had my hair done at some of the most renowned salons in Beverly Hills, CA, ( I commuted), with celebrity hairdressers who cater to Paris and Britney and Kate Hudson - you name it, and yet, all these years NO ONE came even close to working up such MAGIC on my hair. But Ladies - Don't take my word for it - see for yourself. She is absolutely THE MOST talented hair ARTIST I've seen. Oh, she's also a Color Instructor who teaches her fine skills as well! When I moved to Texas from California almost 5 years ago, I was dreading looking for a new stylist that I could trust with both coloring and cutting my hair. I'm pretty picky, but I also like to have a stylist with imagination and the courage to tell me what will and won't look good on me. I was thrilled when I met Nina Grossman, master stylist and owner of Luxe. I have been her client for almost 5 years and I have never been dissapointed. When she opened her own salon last year, it was so exciting and provides a great salon experience. I can't say enough good things about Nina and the salon. One of the best parts about it, is you can shop in the boutique for reasonably priced clothing and accessories while your color is processing! more

I am a huge fan of Luxe and it's owner, Nina Grossman. I have been going to Nina for a few years now and was so happy for he when she was able to open her very own salon. Luxe is very posh but in an inviting and relaxed way and very much rivals other downtown salons I have been to in the past. For me, getting my hair done is an ""event"" of sorts, I am SO HAPPY I don't have to drive all the way downtown and lose all that extra time anymore. And not only in Nina the best colorist in the world, but she has always listened closely to what I like and want and followed it exactly. On several occasions, she has saved me from making a bad hair decision and talked me back over to hair sanity. I get lots of compliments on my cuts and color and have referred several people to Luxe and they have all been extremely pleased. more

I'm so happy to have found Nina and Luxe Salon, right in my backyard. Now I don't have travel to downtown Austin! The salon is posh, clean and has impeccable decor! Don't be dissuaded by the shopping center it's located in. Not only does Nina do an amazing job with my color and cut everytime, but the salon offers all the top hair care lines, skincare, OPI, and boutique clothing, accessories & jewelry to boot! It's a fabulous place to buy that last minute gift. AND if that were not enough, I get my waxing done when I go in for my hair so it's a one-two punch! I even take my 7 year old to her, because it's fast, convenient and my son loves Nina! more

First, the atmosphere of Luxe is fabulous! It's beautiful and feels spa like. Nina (the owner) is a magician with hair! When I first came to her 3 years ago my style and color were a mess. Now, I get compliments everythime I leave Luxe. Their products are amazing, the stylists are top notch and the customer service is immpeccable! I highly recommend Luxe. more

From the decor to the service, you will feel as if you stepped into a high end salon anywhere in the Country, and it is in my backyard of Lakeway. But hey, this is Lakeway and at the end of the day what we really care about is the final results of our service, and Nina and her staff really know hair and color. I promise you one thing, if you go downtown to get your hair done, you are wasting a lot of money and time, by the time you drive and pay the price for sub par service downtown, you would of had time and money to shop before the kids got out of school, afford margarita's at Flores, and be the hit of the town with your fantastic service you just got!!! Go see Nina and her staff, and you will not be disappointed. more
