Being a foodie from San Francisco, I enjoy fine dining & am willing to pay for excellent food & service. The food presentation was excellent, however it lacked in taste. The foie gras terrine was fantastic (no seared foie gras as indicated on the online menu). The duck entree was pretty but flavorless. The chocolate souffle was doughy and chewy, not tall with crisp edges.
The service was good but inconsistent. The busboy didn't explain what type of tapenade was served w/the bread, almost removed my starter before I was finished eating and didn't keep the water glass filled. There was no break between courses, in fact, the main course was ready before I finished my starter. The server requested the wrong dessert so I had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the correct one. After that mistake, the dessert charge was not removed from my bill.
Pros: Ambience
Cons: overpriced
