Countless choices 10/8/2008

Lurvey's is a quality store for trees, bushes, and long term plants. They have a wide selection of types of plants. No matter what you buy from Lurvey's you know that you will be getting a quality plant. \r \r The sales people are also extremely knowledgeable. They know everything about all the plants and will guide you to make the right choice for your needs and desires. But this quality of plants and service does come at a price. Landscaping in general is a pricey endeavor, but they do add a little for the quality they offer. more

Lurvey's Garden Center 2/7/2006

Lurvey's (at Dempster and Potter) has been there for quite some time, but they have remodeled/expanded a few years ago. They have a fine selection of annuals and perennials, as well as trees and bushes. They also have a good selection of vegetable and herb plants, as well as some really nice hanging baskets of flowers. We purchased a plum tree a few years ago from them, and it is growing very nicely in the backyard, in an area where we have had problems with other things growing. They have also expanded to include water fountains, ponds, and babbling brooks. The information gazebo is very helpful, and the expert can often guide you in the direction of what you are looking for. more
