Great Italian restaurantin La Jolla 10/23/2011

Service was fast, our waitress was definitely nice, and food came out super fast as in, within 15 minutes. Spaghetti and meatballs were great. Will come again for sure. more

Great salads 10/2/2011

The summer salad was delicious as were our two pasta dishes: walnut and ricotta ravioli and goat's cheese and truffle gnocchi. The tiramisu was divine, light and fluffy, and we even got some surpise extra little desserts on the house. more

celebrated my wedding anniversary here with my husband and thought it was absolutely amazing. The homemade bread was the best I have ever had. more

One of Fav's in San Diego 4/30/2010

This is an authentic Italian cuisine in a European quaint setting in a perfect part of LaJolla! The food is super delicous (had them cater our company party & everyone raved about the food). Raffo, the owner, is all about service so him & his staff treat you like a valuable old friend! When we go - we are there for hours! A must go - you will want to return! :o) Pros: Great Quaint Atmosphere, Incredible Food, Awesome Service Cons: Not in my neighborhood & 1-2 more dessert choices plez! more

Best Italian in SD 12/3/2006

I am from Chicago, I know Italian. This place is underated, the food is absolutely incredible, excellent wine list, and Raffo the owner greets you and can make many recommendations to suit your taste. By far, one of the best restaurants in San Diego, but unknown. Great, safe neighborhood, easy to park. It's not necessarily ""Chicago"" Italian as you know it, however, it is as good or bettter because you don't feel uncomfortable afterwards. By the way, the flourless Choclate cake is incredible, even if you normally don't like flourless chooclate (like me). Pros: BEST FOOD EVER, YOU FEEL WELCOME. more

European Style in Bird Rock 9/9/2006

This place is like home, European Style. You have the feeling that the owner and staff have known you for years, even if only your second visit. The nighly specials are exqusite, and the owner, ""Raffo"" usually has a special list of wines to share with his guests. We LOVE this great little spot without the hassles of the main drag of La Jolla. Pros: The Food and Service Staff are EXCELLENT Cons: The kitchen is slow, but worth the wait! more
