Lupe's Diner

Good: I like the burrito i had and the side of rice and beans. Bad: first off we walk in and they act like we don't belong there. secondly they dont make any accomodation on appetizers. third when they decide to check on us they take everything including a half filled drink after sitting there for ten minutes waiting. we could not even complain when they brought the wrong drinks because they were gone in a flash. our food was ready and sat there for at least five minutes while they mingled which caused our food to be lukewarm. Improvements: waiters who actually want to do their job and care about the customer enough to let them finish their sentence. Other: If i ever go back i will get it to go.We would have given them a smaller tip if we had smaller bills. I will never dine there again.. more

The food was good, but they were chatting instead of coming around making sure that we didnt need anything else. When one of the waitresses finally did come around, she took the drinks; 1 of which was over half full, and gave us new ones. I tried to ask for something extra, but she walked away before I could finish my sentence. The service was ridiculous, and I would say they didnt even deserve a tip because the food sat out for a while before they realized that we were still waiting for it. It came to us cold, and they just went back to talking with the other waitresses. I would not go back there, even if you paid me!! more

Good: The menu has plenty to choose from.. Bad: Lupes was great when they first opened. Then after a few visits and ordering take-out, we noticed the quality of the food and service became very disapointing to the point we no longer go there. I mean I understand, getting a chunck of fat or catlidge on occasion in the food but it became to a point it was happening every time we ordered.. Improvements: New chef's that know what they are doing.. more

Dining at Lupes is an overall good experience but not great the service is ok but it is something that they can work on. The food is good but not great, something is missing- flavor. The prices are fair. I have had a variety of dishes and the carne asada is the best choice. The salsa is good and so is the traditional rice drink- Horchata. So if you would like so so food go for it. Enjoy more
