address is wrong on the link! 1/7/2012

i haven't bowled here but my son was invited to a birthday party here. warning...the address says 415 teller and the map corresponds to this, BUT the real address is 415 SOUTH teller and that is a whole different neighborhood! as a result my son and his friend were late for a party and were sad. so don't make that mistake! more

BEWARE!!! bad service & bad attitude 10/25/2010

I have been going to LS in Belmar nearly since it opened (when it was good), and this was by far my worst bowling lane experience. It used to be clean and well kept, now the machines are in disrepair, the lanes were FAR from evenly oiled, and the staff was rude and not helpful. I have had better service in dive-bar style lanes than the ""famed"" Lucky Strike. Their ball return machines kept screwing up, and we'd have to go to the desk to get the person to find someone to fix it. The machine ended up destroying my sister's personal ball, and when she brought it up to the staff, they said ""Not our problem."" There are NO signs anywhere stating that they are not responsible for damage to balls, they just brushed her off and gave her a card for repair AT HER OWN EXPENSE!!!! When I called corporate, I got the same song and dance...""NOT OUR PROBLEM."" For as much as they charge for food, (which you may or may not eventually get due to their lack of caring or present wait staff), they can afford to fix both my sister's ball and their machine. My ball was also damaged, but since it was second in line from hers, the damage was minor. Hers will need a full resurfacing. I am sure if it was league night, and they had serious bowlers there, they'd repair the ball, but since it was open bowling, they could give a hoot. PLAYER BEWARE!!!!! Save yourself some money, and do some REAL BOWLING at Green Mountain Lanes, Wheat Ridge Lanes, or other REAL bowling alleys, these guys are a bar disguised as a bowling establishment. more

Went here with some friends I was visiting, and we had a great time. I love the idea of the lounge, bar, bowling alley hybrid. The drinks were really good, at a totally reasonable price. I'd definitely recommend checking it out! Pros: Really good drinks, awesome atmosphere more

Their service was terrible! 2/17/2009

My husband and I walked in to play pool. We started playing and there were 2 waitresses walking back and forth getting orders for the other customers there. They walked right by us about five different times and they never stopped to ask us if we wanted anything! They would glance over as they walked by and NOTHING! I couldn't believe it. Finally I went up to one of them, and told her that nobody had come by to take our order. (We had been there about 20mins.) She said something like ""ok, what can I get you?"" No apology or anything. I just ordered water. Then later I didn't see any of them around so I went up to the bar and asked for ""a water no ice."" The bartender just gave me a mean look, and got water from the faucet! It was warm and cloudy! When I brought it up to her she said very rudely, ""You said water, no ice."" I told her the previous one was without ice, but still alot colder than this one! She gave me another rude look and gave me another water from the pump. I went back to play pool.(Our last game of course.)Then it happened again. The waitresses kept walking by and didn't acknowledge us at all and the manager, kept walking by us too and nothing. When we were leaving I told the girl at the register what was happening then the manager came over. I told him everything and he was very condescending! While I was telling him all of this one of the waitresses was standing there just smirking! It was unbelievable! Well anyway he offered us free passes. I took them(eh!)but I told them that I was NOT going to pay for the pool game and walked out!\r Pros: Cool surroundings. Lively. Good music. Cons: snooty waitresses, and rude bartender chick! more
