Lucky Boy Drive-In Restaurant

After all the blabla? about this restaurant ?Lucky Boys, I decided to stop for breakfast, lunch and diner and what a bust? had I known the individual doing the rating were mostly street people, the working class, Joe six-parks, blue-color types, I would not have eaten at this facility ? To be fair to the restaurant I went to the facility two dozen times, at different time periods (early morning, afternoon and evenings). The story was the same each and every time. Tasteless insipid, served in super huge burrito, or tasteless frostbite burgers, the clerks are rude, they look unclean- and the so call cooks out back look as if they just crossed the border from Mexico - simply stated the food was tasteless, very poor quality and extremely fattening - the ground meat look and taste similar to the discounted meat sold at Giant super-market. Modestly acknowledged: the food, taste, service were below standard ? mediocre at best and at each and every time. Thanks Pros: cheap but trash food, Cons: low quality, tasteless food , dirty more

OK- I'm not one to just hop on and write a review, and the guy that wrote the other reviews has issues! ( his Mom Beat him for Krayst sakes, wow! . But this place dishes out an amazing bkfast dont be shocked the bkfast burrito is 5$, cause it is a dos manos style burrito ( i guess about 4-5 eggs in there) i get 1 / and chopp it threeways at the office, stick it in the micro for 20 seconds..bkfst for 3 days, no joke! Listen to me, fellow americans! lucky boy is freaking awesome. lets cut the ca-rap, shall we? you get the breakfast burrito. its freaking a monster. a freaking monster. i mean, literally, it came to life, and attacked me. the burrito is egg, cheese, your choice of bacon, bacon, or bacon (f the haters, its about bacon) and hash browns. HASH BROWNS. not this potato ca-rap, but hash browns. the kind mother used to make me when she stopped beating me. this burrito is huge, but i still buy an order of small chili cheese fries? why you ask? well f you, seriously. asking me stupid questions. Lucky Boy's is an excellent fast food place. All the dishes I have sampled, are delicious. I expecially love the Tuna Melts! This place is open late nights, which is good if you are hungry and need a quick snack. I highly reccomend eating here. Some really good food. The breakfast burrito is a definate must have. The pastrami burgers are also highly recommended, along with the fried zucchini (the small is plenty to share with people). Portions are generous and the price is right. Have to go and give this place a try. Pros: portions, price more

If you happen to live in the Pasadena area this is one of those places that does not need advertising. Word of mouth and the quality of the food keeps people coming back for more. This is not the healthiest stuff in the world so moderation is key. I personally enjoy their breakfast burrtios which are loaded with egg, hash browns, salsa and your choice of bacon or sausage. They're quite large enough to share with a friend. more
