THE MOST HORRIBLE STAFF! Rude! 12/20/2017

Lack of communication! Katy Mill location. I scheduled a cleaning that is supposed to be free on my insurance. (Also a crown came off and I needed it looked at.) I was told by receptionist lady to pay $75 for some irrigation cleaning. I declined the irrigation and said I just wanted a routine cleaning. The lady snort snickered, mumbled something, then checked to see if that could be done. Close to 45 min later I was called back. Dentist talked about my crown then told me it needed to be fixed. He said it was too late and to reschedule. He sent info to front while I wait for my cleaning. Found out, I have to have same expensive cleaning as the year before. They won't do the routine free cleaning. No one told me and I was clear about just routine before I went back to be seen. I had to walk to the front because they just left me sitting back there with no explanation of what was going on. The tone of the women at the desk was rude, especially when I asked why I wasnt told about the type of cleaning. Smirk on the lady's face as another lady said I declined. Rude tone. Ripoff central 4/20/2015

This is the place to go if you want to get ripoff. The billing person is a crook. They con my wife into paying the full dental service when she has dental insurance that Lovett said they accepted when you first verify with them. After you get the dental service treatment; then they say insurance does not cover because the dentist is a specialist. All she got was a check up and cleaning in which all dental insurance cover between 80% to 100%. I am thinking of legal actions on this dental office. I called the dental insurance myself and confirm that Lovett should have cover the check up and cleaning at 100%. Good luck to anyone going to this place, they will rip you off. more

Bad Dentist Alert 1/8/2014

Lovett Dental right by Katy Mills Mall- after waiting for 2 hours (my son and I) we got a cleaning with x rays. When we were leaving they said we need to make another appointment to fix all our cavities and handed me a quote for $906.00 ($260.00 I was to pay and $646.00 the insurance was to pay). My sons quote was about the same. I ask how many cavities I had and she said 5, since I have not had 5 cavities in my whole life I wanted a second opinion and requested my digital copy of x-rays emailed to me but the only thing they could give me was a piece of paper with my X-rays on it (I could tell this was going to be useless to the other dentist). Any way I had my second opinion yesterday and after redoing all the x-rays I found out I do not have any cavities. Do not go to this place unless you want to be drilled on for no reason. more

Stay Away!!! 6/11/2013

I made an appointment with Sherry over a month for my whole family of 5, I was told that I had to split into two days so they could accommodate 5 people. My family and I arranged our schedule to be able to make the appointments. Sherry calls my phone 10 minutes before the appointment time and leaves a message canceling, however my wife and son are already in the office awaiting to see the dentist. My wife is informed that they can only see one person and there will be no cleanings because they are short staffed. I receive a call from my wife to inform me of the issue while she's in the office and I'm in route to the appointment. Sherry communicates to me that there are circumstances beyond her control and she will not be able to schedule us at all this week. I'm not sure what kind of Micky Mouse outfit these people are trying to run but it is clear that they are anything but professional and have no idea what customer service is, STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! more

Worst customer service ever! 5/8/2013

My son had two front teeth broken during his freshman basketball game at Katy High.The Dentist did a good job with a double root canal and caps. The total cost was about $3500.00. My problems started when Sherri, in the business office told me that my out of pocket cost was 750.00 higher than first stated. She said the original price was"just an estimate". I was never told the original quoted price was just an estimate, but the schools' supplemental insurance covered it so I didn't gripe too much. In the end I actually overpaid by $210.00 and requested a refund in march. Sherri agreed that I had a credit balance of $210.00 and she would request a refund check to be sent to me. Over the next six weeks, I called a few times because I had not received the check. Every time Sherri said the check would be there soon. Last week I told her it had been six weeks and she said she would call accounting and check on it and call me right back. I called her back four hours later, and she said the accountants were out of the office. (At 2:00pm on a Wednesday, really?) After raising my voice and asking where my money was, she hung up on me. I then called the main office. Shockingly, when I asked for accounting, they were there and aswered the phone. I told them my problem and was transfered to Gretchin in processing. She was Great!!! She said she saw that I had a credit balance and that no request for a refund had ever been submitted by the Katy office! She said she would handle it, and I got my money two days later. The Katy office did not make a simple mistake. They flat out lied to me! There is a big difference between incompetent and dishonest. I will never go back there and I would never wish this type of tretment on anyone. more
