I have been to this restaurant a million times! Food is authentic an amazing!! If your looking for American tex mex then go to Taco Bell, this is not the place for you. I don't live close to this place by delivery standands (almost 3 miles) so I was a bit leary but decided to give in to the cravings. Food was still hot, well packaged and almost as good as being there. Minus the ambiance and mariachi band of course. The nachos grande are great, bistec de polla alla mexicana (picante if u like spicey) is basically Mexican chicken but is off the chain!! They have the same thing with beef steak. Order, order, order... You will not be disappointed!!! more

At first I was excited when the food arrived slightly before its scheduled arrival however I paid 2.50 for watered down guacamole--literally I drained water out of the incredibly small dish it came in. Also, the vegetarian burrito was poorly done and considered. I'd say that 90 percent of it was rice, 6 percent was bean, and 4 percent was random garnish that was wilted. It also tasted slightly sour for reasons I will never know. The only thing I purchased and finished in it's entirety was my can of Ginger Ale. For almost 15 dollars it was an incredible waste of time and money. more

Best Mexican food we've found in the area - especially the tacos. Delivery was well packaged, and this time it was super fast. The last time delivery was slow due to computer issues. But they more than made up for it this time. Will be our first place to call when we want Mexican. more

I really enjoy Los Mariachis food, but there are some consistent problems. First, the food is always ice cold (not acceptable). Second, they wrap their tacos in paper that ultimately ruins the presentation, and makes it impossible to peel off. Third, they are very cheap with the ingredients. Last, if I am spending $60+ on take-out, throw some salsa or taco sauce in the bag!! more

Huge rip-off 1/2/2012

Ordered through Seamless and was REALLY disappointed. The ""large"" vegetarian nachos, at $7.50, were 12 chips. Not a pile, a small pizza box with 12 individual chips amply spaced out, with stuff on them. (And not even any meat to justify the price.) My two vegetarian friends had planned on splitting that--it was really unfortunate. My shredded chicken taco had a gross, hard piece of cartilage in it--a large one. The ""dreamy death"" shakes were tasty but mostly ice. $3 for five sips of milk and orange juice. The food that wasn't problematic was just okay. It's a shame the better Mexican places in the area aren't on Seamless, because I'm never ordering from this place again. more

Do not go there 5/17/2010

On May 7th, 2010, I came over there for fourth time. (I am not a regular customer. last time I was there with my friend in March of 2009). I ordered one a very small shot of tequila (I thought this is the place to get a real taste of it), chips and guacamole. That was all. Soon after I asked for the bill. It was $17.37. According to receipt I had 1 extra chips - $2.50; 1 Guacamole - $3.50, and 1 Don Julio Reposado - $9.95. I put $3 dollars tips, and paid with a credit card. Cons: prices, cheating, betraying more

Average food at above average prices 9/28/2009

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend thinking about better ways we could have spent our money. The food had no flavor and I expected soooo much more from a genuine mexican restaurant. I have had better food from the local Tex-Mex restaurant. I would not recommend this place, save your money . Cons: food, price more

this restaurant has been here fore years but I just moved into this neighborhood, a bit pricey but its worth it, happy hour mojitos are the best. I am going back to eat garlic shrimp and sangria next time. I went with all my friends and we loved it, they have a website too, losmariachisrestaurant dot com I recommend. Pros: Sangria and Mojitos, try the Margaritas too, Fajitas Great! Cons: A little pricey but definitely worth it. more

Best sangria and good food 1/31/2009

This is the only mexican restaurant where my husband and family eat. The food is always good and service is great. Do not miss out on the sangria it is the best. For dessert I stay away from the rice pudding; a bit too hard for me. The flan is very good. Where in NY can you get great home tasting mex food at very a affordable price. Pros: great food at cheap price Cons: parking a bit difficult more
