This is the best Mexican I have had outside of Garibaldi's in Orlando. These guys understand the awesomeness of the Chihuahua cheese and I always leave satisfied. Go here.

If this is Mexican, then you'll enjoy Taco Bell too! 9/10/2008

Billed as "authentic" Mexican food I was greatly disappointed. We were seated promptly, but then were brought very stale tortilla chips that seemed to be made somewhere else - certainly not on site. The salsa was served in a glass jar and was to be poured into little restaurant bowls by the guests - not a bad idea - that allows double dipping. The taste of the salsa was bland and again seemed to have come out of a jar ("New York City???") The "authentic" menu items were hardly authentic, appearing to be the average Tex-Mex selections of nachos, enchiladas, burritos and so forth. Nothing authentically "Mexican" that I saw. Asking for a recommendation our waiter guided up to the most expensive item on the menu - a "volcanic rock bowl" of various items. Pass.... My date ordered Tortilla soup and what was called guacamole salad. I ordered a pork dish described as "pork tips covered in our special sauce" , asking if they had black beans rather than refried beans and was told "yes" by our waiter. What we were brought was: Tortilla soup - about the best item ordered but heavily over salted such that the broth alone was like drinking ocean water; guacamole salad - a large handful if out-of-the bag shredded lettuce with a scoop of guacamole topped with half of a slice of tomato; pork dish- a generous serving of roasted pork tips, some tender but some overcooked, but again heavily salted, but no sauce. The "black beans" were pinto beans that were not smashed into "refried" beans. I asked the waiter why I wasn't served black beans. He tried to convince me that pinto beans were black beans. This guy obviously had no clue. Their Spanish rice had the appearance and texture of Minute Rice. About the only good thing were their margaritas, that were obviously a commodity mix but were quite expensive. Slow service; we finally had to ask for our check. There are too many other authentic Mexican restaurants around to waste your money on this chain. Pros: Location Cons: Lame food, lame service, overpriced more
