Great place to buy supplies & bait. Very fresh bait! Great employees and owner. They know their info and give great advice and tips. They have very convenient hours of operation for us fisherman and hunters. I highly recommend. more

EW ARCHERY SUPPLIES 7/19/2010

They recently just got some bowhunting supplies, the big guy knows what hes talking about and is very helpful when it comes to archery, this shop has been the best for 30 years now and i dont think anyone will ever come close to being as great as lock 3 bait and tackle! more

You guys rock. Ladies this is the place to go for everything, knowlwdge, equipment, bait, questions, these guys are the best. we fish all over, Pgh, Erie, Canada,and there isn't anyone out there with the knowlwdge these guys have. Lock 3 Bait & Tackle 4/11/2010

Best bait-store in Pittsburgh, the big guy inside Tim is a great man with plenty of knowledge of the area and tackle. The store has cheap prices and great products, i would recommend anyone to go try out "Lock 3 Bait & Tackle". There was a blue WRX there when i went and he went flying out of the parking lot throwing rocks every direction, I called the cops on him and they're still looking for him... more

Fisherman's shop 12/15/2009

Great store near a great fishing hole. Any live bait you want (leeches are great) and a wide selection of tackle. Also right across the street from one of the best holes in the area. more

Great store 11/24/2009

I have been shopping here for years. Very knowledgable and full selection. Prices are good too. Services one of the best river wading spots in the 3 river area. Only knock on the place, is lack of an internet site. But there are enough of those around to waste nonfishing hours. These guys cater to those who are acutually out fishing! more

Lock 3 Bait & Tackle 3/21/2006

This place is next to the Lock and Damn #3 and they sell all kinds of bait you will need for fishing. I also was able to pick up my fishing license while I was there, the people there are very knowledgeable of where you can fish, what you can fish for and also what is working for bait and what isn’t. They are open early for those of us who like to fish before the sun comes up. There prices for bait are really cheap here also which is a big plus. more
