Mike Llamas is the sole proprietor of Llamas Law, LLC in Newton, Kansas. Sworn in as an attorney in 2001, Mike practiced 6 years as a criminal prosecutor in the Harvey County Attorney's Office. In 2010, he made the decision to enter private practice as a criminal defense attorney. As a former criminal prosecutor with Harvey County, Mike has gained a wealth of trial experience and knowledge in the field of criminal law. Mike has tried several cases - both jury and bench trials - and has argued several cases to the Kansas Court of Appeals. Mike graduated from Wichita State University with a degree in History in 1998, and then attended the University of Kansas School of Law in Lawrence where he graduated in 2001. Mike is licensed to practice law in the State of Kansas and Federal Court. Mike is currently presiding as Municipal Court Judge in the cities of Walton, Burrton and Florence, Kansas.
