Best

Went on a Monday night for a romantic dinner, so the place was not that busy but service was kind of slow. The ambience was very nice with soft lighting. Ordered 3 sushi rolls ...

Worst

To be blunt, this was one of the worst meals I have paid for in a long time. The Pad Thai was like fettucine with a sour tasting cream sauce with some token peanuts ground on top...

It's Vegas For YOU! 10/5/2008

Little Buddha is a nice and fancy restaurant inside the Palms. I love the decorations and the lighting. The food is way too pricey but hey it's Vegas right. I had a Lychee Martini and it tasted like thera-flu. Their Palms fried rice or combination fried rice was tasteful. Their Palm's roll was good but not worth $20. The chicken lettuce wrap was good, but if you add the sauce it's a little too salty. The service was great in the beginning. After we order the waiter didn't go back to check on us. The manager was very nice and friendly though. more

One of my worst meals ever 12/20/2007

To be blunt, this was one of the worst meals I have paid for in a long time. The Pad Thai was like fettucine with a sour tasting cream sauce with some token peanuts ground on top (to the restaurant's credit, they took this off the bill when I sent it back). The sashimi was reasonably fresh, but large pieces are not impressive. I ordered a bowl of rice (normally included in most Japanese restaurants)--it was not sticky, but dry (like Uncle Ben's). To cap things, the hostess made us wait five minutes for a table when the restaurant was almost completely empty (a mid-week evening in December). Pros: Decor, maybe Cons: Expensive, bad food more

A tasty retreat 10/20/2007

We entered the reception area of this Paris (the country not the casino) import via two massive doors with Chinese lanterns lighting the way. Chef Gerard Canales, formerly head chef at the highly acclaimed Japenego restaurant at the Hyatt Lake Las Vegas Resort, has introduced many new and innovative dishes while retaining longtime favorites. The dining area itself is dominated by an enormous Buddha and classical and Asian music plays softly in the background. We shared an appetizer of lobster cakes, cumin aioli and Thai mango chutney. For entrees we each chose the Korean barbecue salmon over potato cake topped with a green papaya salad. The meal was superb though our server was personality challenged. Pros: Beautiful room, high quality food Cons: Server was a grouch more

Great, fresh sushi rolls 12/21/2006

Went on a Monday night for a romantic dinner, so the place was not that busy but service was kind of slow. The ambience was very nice with soft lighting. Ordered 3 sushi rolls (little buddha roll and king's roll and the spicy tuna.) All very delicious. My boyfriend and I thought the portion was small when it first came out, but we had a hard time finishing it b/c the rolls were so big. The wait was a bit long for the rolls but it was worth it.\r \r The cons....as a big restaurant diner, i like to check out the restrooms and see their design but they dont have one...you have to go out into the casino. In addition, the cheap wooden chopsticks and ""chinese take out"" soy sauce containers were a turn off. For a really nice place I thought they should provide lacquer chopsticks and put soy sauce in a nice glass container. Maybe i'm just being too critical...\r \r Vegas gets to you like that. You expect the best of the best every where you go.\r But definately the food is to die for! Pros: food Cons: service (nice staff but slow service) more

Killer Apps and Atmosphere 9/21/2006

Some of the best appetizers I have ever had. Love the music and decor. Feels like I am somewhere I have not been before. I have been 2x now and will definitely be back. Pros: Appetizers, Atmosphere, Music Cons: Service was a little slow, but they made up for it with an extra more

Amazing 5/12/2005

The food is amazing, the sushi is hands down the freshest ANYWHERE and the service is seamless! Great place for special events! more

WORST OF EVERYTHING!!! 2/24/2005

I had reservations @ 9pm, showed up around 8:50, and was instructed to wait at the bar. 9:30 pm rolled around and still wasn't called. When I asked the hostess if she tried to find us, she said she forgot! We had to wait another 30 minutes to sit at a table. Then wait another 15 mintues for the server to come by. We asked for spicy octupus hand rolls, and he brought us spicy scallop hand rolls, and the seaweed was already soggy. He also forgot another item, which he included on our bill. The whole experience was awful and I will never go back again. The people that work there don't seem like they want to be there. Service is bad, the food isn't all that great, and simply no ambiance. We were one of the last tables left in the restaurant. Cons: EVERYTHING more

Palms Roll 1/13/2005

Amazing the sushi was so fresh out here in the desert! We loved the Palms Roll, it was worth the price. Our waiter was super cute, the decor was dark and gorgeous, the presentation of the food was great, so really a very pleasing place to the eye. Fun sake beverages. Definitely a fun place to go before hitting the town. And the sushi was delicious, too. more

Great food and ambience 3/25/2004

The sushi is extremely fresh and the dishes are tasty. The crowd is young and hip. You'll have to wait some nights even though you have a reservation. But this is a great place for big groups. Pros: Great food, Good for big groups more
