Lisa has been coloring and cutting my hair for 8 years now. I always look forward to going to the salon and come out with an extra bounce in my step. She is always up to date on the latest styles, she listens to your needs and offers suggestions. I just love Lisa. She is brilliant. I had long hair for a long time and needed a change. Lisa gave me the most modern, most fantastic haircut! She also got the color right on my hair the first time around. It was not brassy at all. The color even made my complexion look better. I HIGHTLY RECOMEND HER. I happened to find Lisa out of sheer luck! (no pun intended) I moved here from Minneapolis 4 years ago and had such difficulty finding someone who really knew how to produce amazing blonde highlights let along give an amazing haircut. She has turned my hair into a ""wow"" - quite a departure from the ""bow wow"" travesty resulting from another stylist here in the Valley. I found Lisa Turley thru citysearch due to other fab comments from customers. I have been searching forever for an excellent stylist and I finally found her. I have wanted to color my bleach blonde hair a darker more natural shade and possible move towards brown, but ....never finding anyone to dye it the color I was thinking. After poor Lisa had to listen and look at a mound of magazine clippings of the ""perfect hair color"" for me we discussed what would and would not work , she gave me explanations of why and why not, and then gave creative suggestions of where we could accomplish what I wished and what really worked. What resulted was even better than what I was thinking! The color is beautiful and the cut amazing. My long locks were beginning to look drab and boring until Lisa cut and taught me to style my fine hair. This is the best cut and color I have ever had....honestly. I've had Lisa cut and color my hair from the beginning. Unfortunately, I've had to move out of state, but I still find a way to have her do my hair. I've got lots of premature gray, and she's always solved that issue and gone straight on to giving me an awesome cut as well. Lisa has a great eye for what new styles are best suited to her clients. Lisa Turley is by far the BEST stylist/ colorist. Being form New York, I have very high standards and have had many hands in my hair! I absolutely love the way Lisa cuts and highlights my hair, visit after visit. I found Lisa 3 years ago, when I moved here, and have been going to her ever-since. She is the only person in Scottsdale that I woud trust with my hair. I have very long, wavy hair, and she is very methodical with all of my haircuts...lots of layers that lay perfectly, whether it is air-dryed or blown straight. The way she colors my hair is no different---always perfect highlights. She has a true eye for color and design and I trust her to decide what need to be done. I had been going to the same person for 10 years, but NEVER received the comments I did after my first cut with Lisa. Lisa has been making me look great for the past 3 years and always knows what cut will look best on me regardless of the length my hair is at the time of my visit. I have just moved to Arizona a few months ago and I have been looking for a great stylist/colorist. In the past I have always tried different salons, while trying to find the perfect cut and color for my face shape, skin tone, and personality and never was completely satisfied. When I moved to Arizona I tried a few salons and then finally heard about Lisa at a popular retail store. I am so greatful for the recommendation. Lisa helped me decide to take the risk to try a short cut similar to Victoria Beckham's. She made me feel extremely comfortable and I have never gotten soo many complements on my hair in forever! I have also had trouble finding a hair color that wasn't too dark. Past stylist have always dyed my hair too dark when I wanted a medium brown color. After discussing several color options with Lisa, we figured out a color for me. And the color turned out amazing, for once I had color that was a rich brown and not black. Lisa made me look great and I am looking forward to my next appointment with her. I would recommend Lisa to anyone who wants to look and feel great about themselves. I've been going to see Lisa ever since I moved to the Phoenix area four years ago. I've never had my hair cut in all that time by anyone else, and have no plans to. She is absolutely the best stylist I've ever been to in any of the five or six cities I've lived in. Every time I see her, she asks me what it is that I want this time around and is always careful to follow my directions. I've never once walked out of the salon feeling disappointed, expect for the time Lisa was having her baby about three years ago and I used another stylist! She is also extremely flexible and has often gone out of her way to accommodate my schedule. I had lived in NYC and Chicago and I hadn't found anyone who had my hair looking as great as my NYC and Chicago stylists. Then a friend (who has fabulous hair) told me about Lisa. While visiting Scottsdale last year, a friend sent me to Lisa as part of a make-over special. It was the best haircut, style and coloring I have EVER had! I had never had anyone comment on my hair before this and now I hear all the time how great my hair looks. Only problem is that I live in Michigan but will only let Lisa do my hair now! Yes...I fly from Michigan to Phoenix when I need my hair done and yes...she is THAT GOOD! I love how precise the cut is and the haircolor that she uses leaves my hair so soft and shiny without any other products and covers my grey perfectly. Lisa is a highly talented, extremely artistic, and very passionate stylist. I came to her with an ok hairdo and boring color. She reinvented my hair, she brightend me up and gave me a fun, sassy cut, I get more complimants on my hair then i ever have. Also, with her training background I know I can ALWAYS trust her, she is nothing but concistant. I love her and her work!! You're missing out if you're going anywhere else!!! Many stylists have great style and imagination - but horrible listening skills! This is NOT the case with Lisa! She listens, considers what looks best on you, is honest and will have you leaving looking better than you ever imagined! She has never gotten what I wanted wrong!
