The Best of the rest\r My wife and I have been regular customers for over 4 years and rate this restaurant\r as the best in Vancouver. This is a family owned business who loves their customers, \r especially the children. They have plenty of toys for the young to play and the child's menu\r is awesome and priced right. Their food is of high quality and the portions are perfect.\r That person who wrote a terrible review must be very sick and needs alot of help or they \r very jealous of linda and crew. I'm going to start by saying everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and that?s great! However that?s even more reason to go to Linda's to form your own opinion on the food and the service! Personally I love this place and think it?s like a modern day cheers where everyone knows everyone from either outside the restaurant or from seeing each other numerous times while dining there (they are repeat customers for a reason)! I was in the food service industry for several years and this type of a family owned and operated restaurant is very rare and hard to come across anymore and as far as I'm concerned this place is one of a kind. As for the food portions, they are just rite for 99% of people and if you want more then order it, the prices are extremely low probably because you are not paying for 3x the food you are not going to eat anyways. It?s pretty sad if the worst thing someone could come up with is the condiment containers were dirty because there are no condiments containers out for the customers to access not to mention if you check the health scores over the past 5 years they are almost all 100% scores and the few that were not never fell under 90%. There is good reason this place is still around after 5 years staying consistently busy even during these hard times! So, get out there and make your own opinion people rather then listing to some bitter prude person on here! \r more

A real neighborhood jewel, to all who know the place. The food is creative, and always of premium quality; the employees never hesitate to help you with anything you need...right down to coming to the homes of some of their customers and helping with things there (freely, and willingly may I add!). I wouldnt take my family anywhere else, and I think 1stclassmeals must be a complete idiot, or just not a very nice person to have made such claims (all LIES!) about such wonderful people who really run a quality business. Pros: Service is great, and more than helpful, food is the best in town! more

To start out this place is not a mexican restaurant. After reading the review (lie's) by 1stclassmeals i was wondering if this was the same place. My question to 1stclassmeals is, did you bring this up to linda or do you just hide behind your keyboard. As far as lindas hash goes, most people cant finish it, so your body size must be ready for the biggest loser to suggest such a thing. For anybody reading this review, its real simple, the food is not ""pre processed"" the people working there makes you feel at home, kids love the place, good food at a good price and on the weekends its worth the wait to get in, after all those places that dont have a wait ............theres a good reason for that. The portions are small and the food is never consistent, you will get a salad with only cheese and mushrooms on it one time and the next time tomato, cucumber and no cheese with a crouton or two. Linda's Hash has a little note on the menu to not share, I could not imagine sharing a cup and maybe a half portion for her so called full plate, must be a saucer she is refering to. Everything we have eaten here is pre processed and thrown together with no thought. The sevice is not the best either half the crew has no clue what is going on, but you will no what is going on in there own life unfortunately. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
