Lime Spring Farm

We recently had our wedding at Lime Spring and could not have been more pleased! Everything was wonderful, and our event coordinator Marci was terrific! (I think she started in early 2011 and was quickly up to speed and very easy to work with.) The staff was very helpful and, most of all, I felt like everyone really wanted to make our day as special as possible. The staff also knew all of our other vendors, so they helped coordinate things like linens, flowers, etc. The day of the wedding was gorgeous, so we were VERY lucky weather-wise. It got a little warm under the tent on the dance floor, and we were married in May. It might get pretty hot under the tent in the July or August, so I think spring and fall would be the best time to get married there. The flowers in mid-May were in full bloom and gorgeous. All the guests were outside in the gardens, exploring the property and commenting on how beautiful and unique it was. We wanted a venue that was different, and I loved the farm houses, barn with mural, tree lined entrance, twinkle lights, pond and so much natural beauty. We are still receiving lots of compliments on the venue. It is a bit pricey but is comparable to other top venues in Lancaster, and on a nice day, I don't think anything could be better. The venue is still somewhat new. They are adding new features (like softer lighting in the tent which they added before our wedding), so I can only imagine it will be even better in the future. Overall, we definitely would recommend Lime Spring Farm! more

When we first visited Lime Spring Farm, like everyone, we immediately were drawn to the natural beauty of the venue. However, once we met and worked with Marcy and later on the staff, we realized how fortunate we were to have chosen Lime Spring. Marcy's organization and attention to detail provided a stress free day so that we could enjoy our guests. From the beginning, Marcy assured us that no question or concern was too small. Every time we turned around the staff was happily present to extend a helpful hand. The most important memory is how lovely our family and friends were treated on our wedding day. more

Lime Spring Farm was incredible. We had nothing but great experiences with them, although their prices for wine service were a bit ridiculous so we didn't have much wine at the wedding. Marcy Radcliffe, the venue manager, is PHENOMENAL, she was incredibly helpful and responsive to all requests. The venue is breathtaking, the pictures don't do it justice. If you want an outdoor wedding and/or reception, LSF is the best place in PA, I looked at dozens of venues in the tristate area and LSF was in a class of its own. While it's a bit on the pricey side we found we were able to save money on decor and flowers becuase there was so much natural beauty we didn't need to worry about making the tent look pretty. The tent stayed surprisingly cool (with fans!) and there were no bugs bothering us (I thought there would be because of the pond, but I was wrong). Every person at the wedding told us it was the most beautiful wedding venue they had ever seen and they were shocked how comfortable they were outside in that heat! There are 2 houses with air conditioning right next to the tent, so we used those when a large storm rolled through and everyone was able to cool off. It's a phenomenal venue!!! more

My wedding was August 3, 2012. Lime Spring Farm (LSF) was the first place my finacee' and I looked at. We did check others out but nothing came close to LSF. We wanted at least a portion of the wedding outdoors. We had the ceremony and the reception outdoors and had contingency plans, with Theres and Marcie's help, in case of bad weather.The buildings and property were extremely well maintained. We dealt with Theresa initially then ended up working with Marcie for the rest of the time. They were very accommadating when I needed to show people the venue and flexiable with dates and times. They offered suggestions and ideas with decoration and were willing to try some different ideas with the location of the ceremony and dance floor. The rehersal and day of the wedding we worked with two onsite supervisors and they were excellent. They really helped coordinate the wedding party and had us where we needed to be and when. I was very pleased with these two peope. And they were very friendly and easy to work with. I would love to attend a wedding there just to be on the other side and be able to enjoy the surrounds more. If the opportunity arose in the future to have another event I would most definitely consider LSF! more
