Editorial review from Urbanspoon 10/3/2009

Lime offers another affordable dining option in south beach. It's very casual, a place you'd see locals, and the tacos on scrumptious. We had a combo of hard and soft tacos with beef and chicken, which hit the spot. We enjoyed having the option to choose from a variety of hot suaces and salsas to complement our orders. Def check this place out. more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 11/26/2008

The entire staff consisted entirely of teenagers who didn't seem to care that the restaurant was dirty and the food they served was cold. I ate a "naked" burrito and the chicken was so charred it was inedible - but again - it was COLD. The other person in my party had a beef burrito that wasn't bad, but was COLD. more

Lime Fresh Mexican Grill is the best fresh-Mexican cuisine around. Their new menu is sure to satisfy any guest's craving and the guest service in this fast-casual atmosphere is reminiscent of a casual-style restaurant. The quesadillas are a personal favorite, although the tacos, burritos, salads and chips and salsa always make for great alternatives. I can't seem to get enough of Lime, and neither can others. There is always a line out the door! more

The food was terrible, and the music to loud 2/18/2008

I went to the Pembroke Pines location, and the food was terrible and the music was to loud, we asked 3 time to turn down a little bit the volume and they answer that they can do anything about it. more

REALITY VS. PAID COMMENTS 7/26/2007

PLASTERING THIS RESTAURANT WITH PAID COMMENTS CAN ONLY GO SO FAR VERSUS REALITY. See if YOU can tell the difference between real and paid employees comments. Good luck! more

Fast Fresh Tex Mex 4/27/2007

Lime is a great place to go for fresh tex mex on the go. There are only a few set backs. Parking is difficult, they don't deliver, and there are lines out the door, especially at lunch/dinner times. Pros: Service, Food Cons: Parking, Ambiance, Air Conditioning more

I liked it 10/16/2006

I was visiting the area, didn't know that it existed. My friend and I were hungry and walking back to our hotel.(About 6 blocks away) There were alot of people coming in and out, so we decided to eat there. The food was great. The shrimp tacos were really good. It was one of the best meals we had on South Beach. Pros: Very fast service. Cons: The bathroom is ....well make sure you use the bathroom before you get there. more

Worth the trip from Delray Beach! 8/23/2006

I love this place! I don't even care for Mexican food usually... I drive by hundreds of Mexican restaurants to get to this one. My ONLY complaint is that there isn't one closer to where I live. If more Mexican restaurants prepared their food with fresh ingredients, like Lime, then I would probably have a different opinion. I'm glad Sammy doesn't like it because I would hate to have to sit beside this queen at dinner. When you go to any restaurant, they provide a menu so you will know what to expect when you order. It clearly spells out what comes with each entree...since your spelling in your review was so bad, you probably can't read well either. Pros: Fresh Mexican food! Excellent staff! Very fast food without the calories! Cons: There isn't one located on every corner. more

best mexican food in miami 8/23/2006

Any negitive comments listed here must be from the competition. I frequent lime on a daily basis and the food and service is amazing and very consistent. I recommend lime to everyone and with regards the the losers slamming this eatery, maybe you'll do better at taco bell........ more

AWESOME RESTAURANT 8/23/2006

Lime is the best restaurant on the beach. Everything is always fresh and served quickly. Its worth waiting in line. The salsa bar rocks and the outdoor area is very romantic. Great place for lunch or dinner. Also easy to find parking nearby (unlike Lincoln Road). Worth the drive from Fort Lauderdale. Pros: Great Value, Great food more

The worst customer service the world has to offer 6/9/2006

Ordered a quesadilla and didn't realize it came with beans and was completely unedible. When manager was brought over, he told me the order was placed as it was ordered and when I told him I couldn't eat the food, he looked at me and asked me who would end up paying for the one I already had! Denied me food that I could eat, made me spend my money on food I could not eat, and then added insult to injury by bringing me a menu to tell me to next time read the menu better. Although finding decent sercive on the beach is rare, this is simply injustice. I only recommend it if you eat just about anything and don't usually have special requests with your food, cause if you do, this is the worst place you could possibly go to. The customer is never right, and only go if you want a scolding with your unedible meal. Pros: Food can be good Cons: Terrible cocky customer service, forces you to eat things you you clearly want made more

I'll tell you why theres a line... 5/1/2006

Plain & simple, ITS CHEAP FOOD! But not Great Food. Another reason because there are really no Mexican spots on the beach. Sorry, in Coral Gables (37th ave & 28th st.) where you got the real mexicans in the carts making you carnita asada tacos and all that other good authentic stuff like REAL hot salsas, you just can't compare. I dont know why this place is hyped up so much. All in all the food is OK, i guess I was expecting it to be great and was dissapointed when I got my burrito. Honestly it didnt taste like anything! Completely bland! However, the salsas and guacamole are very good, and very fresh. Pros: Good Location, Cheap Food Cons: Crowded, Bland Food more

The only complaint is that it doesn't deliver! 4/25/2006

Love this place! Affordable for South Beach, fresh, and a salsa bar that where the choices do not look canned. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't deliver. The fish tacos are amazing and the steak for the tacos etc is good quality. There is usually a line out the door. Pros: Inexpensive for sobe, fresh, to go Cons: Seating limited, Mostly outdoors more

Best burritos in South Florida, but... 4/18/2006

...that is not saying much, since mexican food in So. Fla is almost nonexistent. Being from Los Angeles, I am very picky about mexican food. El Tepiyac it is not and it is a slight notch below what you would get in L.A., but for South Florida, I can not complain. The burritos are good (carne asada), though they do not know how to make a ""wet"" burrito. The salsa bar is great, especially the chili verde. Ask for chips while you are waiting for your food and get creative with the salsa. Pros: Burritos, Salsa Bar, Service Cons: Slightly pricey, Parking, No wet burritos more

Used to be better! 4/15/2006

I think this place had a ton of potential, but they've gotten to big. Service is great...if you have a problem (which I had several with the quality of the food), they do their best to accomodate you... more

Great food 11/4/2005

I could eat the taco salad everyday. There is a reason that this place has a line everyday. It is great mexican food. Pros: fresh food, great service Cons: expect a wait, no parking more
