Favorite Stop 10/17/2008

A definite stop every time we're in Honolulu. Located just blocks from the Ala Moana Shopping Center. Menu features local favorites along with traditional American fare. more

Great Place to Eat 6/12/2008

Well if you want to go here for breakfast you need to get there early cause the line quite often goes all the way out the door. Whcih says something about the place and food (great place/great food). Service might be slow at times due to being busy but if you are more than willing to flag down your waiter/waitress than go for it. Family friendly too, you can bring your two year old here and it won't matter how much noise/mess they make. more

Saimin 6/10/2008

Eating local style saimin at Like Like is a must do if you visit Hawaii. The taste of saimin is very different than, for example, ramen. I took my in-laws (Japanese) to Like Like and they loved it. The parking is limited so get there early. more

Good Eats Cheap 11/25/2007

The Likelike Drive In is the only place to stop for all the local favorite and plate lunches for a reasonable and inexpensive meal. It's nothing fancy but is a popular local hang out so check it out. It's really busy late at night so be for warned but they are fast. more

The tradition continues with their daughter, Dora, son in law, Roy Hayashi, and their family. The restaurant has become a local landmark on Oahu, Hawaii, attracting local families & tourist alike. Like Like Drive-Inn has also been officially designated by the State of Hawaii as a place of historic interest.
