Liberty Regional Medical Center, located in Hinesville, Ga., offers a range of services to patients and their families. The hospital s emergency department is a Level II unit that is open 24 hours a day. The department consists of major trauma rooms, an orthopedic and minor trauma room and examination rooms. The department is staffed with an emergency physician, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, patient care technicians and advanced nursing technicians. The hospital offers various tests and procedures, such as surgery, laboratory tests, X-rays, CT scans, physical therapy and magnetic resonance imaging. Its outpatient services include treadmill stress testing, complete pulmonary function testing, electrocardiograms, 24-hour heart monitoring of the cardiac system at home and arterial blood gas sampling. Inpatient services range from aerosol and oxygen therapy to pulmonary toiletry and cardiopulmonary education. The hospital also has a medical-surgical unit and perinatal department and offers physical therapy services.
