I originally left the practice because they were out-of-network with my insurance. However, I came back because of the bad experience with the other office. They are very accommodating and the hygienists are great. They work with my account to make it possible for me to continue to be seen as a patient. Thank you! TS more

Office is quite freindly and attentive, but mislead you in the coverage your insurance will provide. They failed to let me know they were out of network with my insurance, and even billed me at the visit stating my insurance would cover 80% and I had to cover the extra 20% (which I did not mind) 3 weeks later I recieved an astronomical bill from them, stating that my insurance would not cover the 80% as they had informed me. Again, very freindly, but poor buisness practices in an economy where people are really suffering. I believe that they purposly did not inform me that they were out of netwrok with my insurance, if they had, I never would have gone there obviously. They even told me my that my cleaning was covered, made me pay nothing while there at the office, and then billed me for the whole visit 3 weeks later.... you can imagine the shock! Be carefull with billing. more

Went here today and was very satisfied. Everyone was very friendly, engaging and helpful. Due to some comforting words and a professional hand the injection did not hurt. I received a printout of the digital pictures which will be helpful in the further process. In addition the price was not bad in the end. I had to be careful because I have only minimal student exchange insurance. Thank you for your kind attentiveness also in this regard. more

The staff at Levy dental was so nice and friendly. They made me feel like part of the family. I had had an accident and brike some teeth. They put me at ease and made my smile beautiful. I would highly reccomend them to anyone! more

The staff is quite rude if they don't realize you are customer! It is kind of shocking. Then once they realize you are they try to pretend they are friendly and helpful. I had VERY basic stuff done. They filled a "cavity" (at a cost well above what comparable dental services charge) which turned out not even to be a cavity but a "potential" cavity. They also insisted on using some high powered sanding like tool to clean one of my teeth... and then proceeded to chip it. So now instead of a "dirty" tooth I am missing part of my tooth. They also charged a lot for that 10 second procedure. Because its a cosmetic dental service, they want to make you feel like your teeth are ugly. They do that thing where they are like "You have probably noticed that (fill in something that is only noticeable to you) is wrong with your teeth. We can fix for (fill in an exorbitant price here)." All in all, there are lots of dental services available in New Haven. Don't go here. They are snobby, over priced and not worth it. more

Good: Clean facility & friendly staff.. Bad: The staff has been trained to sell you services that are not really needed for a small fortune. They were going to charge me over $6,000 for services for my daughter that cost us about $1,700 at another dentist. The work at the new dentist was wonderful. Also, they filled a simple cavity for me and I was in alot of pain when I got home. I went in 2 additional times, they weren't able to fix the problem, but still want to charge me over $600 for the filling. Our new dentist fixed it on my first visit!. Other: Be aware and be informed - do not have work that is not necessary and price the work you do have compared to other dentists. While their work can be fine, it is not any better than any other competent dentist. BE INFORMED AND BE EDUCATED!!. more

I went to Levy Dental for a dental whitening procedure, and wasn't sure what to expect. I do not like dentists in general, but Dr.Levy and his staff make you feel right at home, and very at ease. I love the office, which is very bright and welcoming. While going through the 2 hour + procedure, I was always being monitored by Dr. Levy's staff, making sure that I was comfortable. They also had a small dvd monitor attached to the seat so that I could watch videos while sitting in the chair for long periods of time. It made a long process go by a lot quicker! more
