The Regional Center in Walnut Creek is something that Contra Costa really needed- a nice place for performing arts and live theater. They are able to schedule quite a good selection of renowned acts and famous speakers throughout the year. Great location too, smack in the center of downtown and within walking distance to many great restaurants. more

The Best Venue in the East Bay 8/15/2005

The East Bay’s premier entertainment venue has a variety of acts to please any possible audience. Past events have included a gubernatorial debate during the California recall, orchestra concerts, musicals, lectures, and everything in between. With up to three events simultaneously, the Lesher center simply can’t be beat as the best place for live theater and entertainment in the East Bay. more

Wonderful atmoshphere! 8/1/2005

I saw a concert here of a teen orchestra, and it was a wonderful experience! The seats were comfortable, the acoustics were amazing, and they had delicious little treats during intermission. I haven't yet seen a play here, but I am sure with the quality of the performance that I saw that a play would be thouroughly enjoyable. more

The Dean Lesher is an awesome theater with plays for all ages. You can buy year round passes for all the plays you want or you can just pay to get selected plays. The kids plays are extremely interesting and they even let the kids (if you choose) come up right around the stage so they really get the front row seats! They are extremely entertaining and never put you to sleep. Its GrEaT!!! more

Nice place to see a good play 6/30/2005

The Dean Lesher is a really neat Theater located in Walnut Creek, CA. They host plays, musicals, and other things. This past year they even hosted the Shellies! I was so fortunate to be able to go. Anyways, back to the theater. They usually have an intermission during longer plays and during that intermission they sell drinks and biscotti. Their theater is a very clean place. I love it! more
