My family is in Hawaii,, the car is in Portland. Someone from the hotel called and told me my tire was flat. I called them for Hawaii to Portland and they rushed over and pumped up the tire for me. I have been a customer with them for like 15 years and they just kept me for another 15. Thank you so much more

Damaged my wheels when mounting and denied such. Oct. 2007 6/16/2008

We needed replacement wheels for two cars, because the factory units were near end of use. We usually have Costco or Tire Factory sell us tires, they both will do free flats too. We had never been to a LS. After shopping around we decided to give LS a try because of claims for customer service, and we wanted a dealer that treated the customer with respect, etc. Both vehicles are well cared for/low mileage. (Tires and mounting for our SUV ran upwards of $550, a bit more spendy than a competitors equal product, but we trusted the dealer on faith.) To our horror, when we received the vehicle the Alu. rims (x4) were scored and gouged by their mounting machine. We immediately returned the vehicle and confronted the manager who denied the damages and suggested we had been curb scraping. The LS corporation also denied our filed claim, so we then had our VISA card back charge the LS merchant account based on the fact of the damages. For VISA to do this we had to furnish damage pictures, dealer more

Amazingly friendly, thorough, informative, and efficient 5/13/2008

My honda passport hasn't been stopping exactly where it's supposed to lately and feels like it's taking corners on 2 wheels, leaving me suspicious of the health of my brakes among other things. I live about 10 minutes from this Les Schwab, knew they offered free tire & brake inspections, so headed on over on Friday. They cleared my tires as robust & not in need of replacing, & then set up a break check for first thing Monday morning. \r \r My appointment was at 8am & I needed to be on the road by 12:30. Turned out I needed new front breaks, struts, & allignment. The mechanic took me out to my car to show me exactly what the problem was and what needed fixing. \r \r They got on it right away & had me out of there by 12:30. My car feels AMAZING - what a difference! So THIS is what it feels like to have my car stopping where it's supposed to! And it's taking corners on all 4 wheels now. I feel much safer (and so should all of you).\r \r In addition, every employee I interacted with was so friendly and positive. Also, they run everywhere - giving me the distinct impression they really do care about my time, or at least, their health - either way a good thing. Their waiting area and restrooms are also very clean and comfortable. I was able to get a good chunk of homework done while I waited (in the waiting area, not the restroom).\r \r I will definitely be back with any tire or brake needs I have in the future!\r \r more

My battery went dead on a cold rainy winter evening. I live near a Les Schwab, and purchased a battery from them. I did not have tools to install it, and they loaned me some on trust. Now I give them all my business, and I am always pleased. more

I have a broken tire once when i was on the road but i mangaged to drag my car to my local Les Schwab to get it fixed. There were only four people working there at the time and they were busy with other cars, none of them seem free. But luckily, a men helped me with my tire. He said that my tire has been overworn and that i needed new tire and said that he would have it ready by ten minutes or so. I decided to go to the convience store next to it. Ten minutes later, my tire was good as new, jus like he promised. The man was very nice and helpful. he also give me tips on taking care of my tires. Thank you . PROS: Great service!! everything! A corporation with small buisness hospitallity 5/10/2005

After popping our tire we headed to the closest tire repair center. We expected a typical long automotive wait and high charge but instead we were pleasantly greeted by an attentive staff, encouraged to enjoy complimentary popcorn and coffee, read magazines in a waiting area with bright windows where we had a liberal view of the work being done on our vehicle and minutes later our keys returned telling us today their patchwork was complimentary. We will definitely go there next time! PROS: Knowledgeable staff CONS: more
