THE avian and exotic EXPERTS! 8/6/2010

I've been in the exotic animal world for a long time and I've never met more knowledgeable veterinarians and staff before. You can really tell that they know what they are doing and that your animal's health is number one! I did some research and my experience is not unique, they are actually world renowned bird and exotic pet experts. Who knew?! Right here so close to home. Well worth the money! I'll definitely be back! more

A lot of money for little result 9/7/2008

I originally went to A&E for the care of my first bearded dragon a few years ago, and I appreciated their services. However, this second time around was abysmal. They charged me hundreds of dollars for various treatments on my pet that did NOT work, and would tell me they would do one thing, and end up doing another, which would cost me more. In fact, my bearded dragon is worse off than when he first went to them, and now no one can seem to fix him. I've had enough, and it will be a last resort for me to consider going to them again. more

Great place to bring your pet! 3/27/2007

Just got back from our first visit with Dr. Johnson. I took my two lovebirds for a checkup and was very pleased with the service. The staff is excellent and they took good care of my babies. more

Excellent service and care for animals 2/7/2006

Its not easy to find a vet to treat reptiles in the Raleigh area. Most are just cat and dog vets. So its very nice to have a specialist here that can take care of my herps. The staff is very kind, caring, and knowledgable. In fact, one of the doctors on staff is also a doctor for the bi-annual reptile shows at the fairgrounds and often gives presentations there. I do recommend taking your more exotic pets there for excellent care. more
