I just had glasses made at LensCrafters and it was quite an experience!! First, while I was sitting there waiting to get my exam, I overheard the receptionist tell someone that called about their new glasses, ?Well you have to wear them for a few days to a week for them to adjust?. I should have gotten up and walked out right then. I got my exam and picked out frames and was told that I would get my glasses in 4 to 9 days because I ordered tinted lens and scratch resistant. Well they were ready in a few days and when I put them on, I couldn?t see a thing! They then told me, ?Wear them for a few days and you will adjust.? I informed her that I could not see anything and it will ruin my eyes and if I try and drive I will wreck the car. Again they told me to wear them a few days. I was really getting upset and they decided to give my money back on the lenses and frames, however not on the exam, even though it was wrong. Since then I have talked to several people that went through the same thing. Medicare paid most of my exam and I am notifying them about the fraud. I am also notifying the proper government agencies. I hope if anyone else gets taken by them, that they will do the same. This business should be shut down!!! I?m 65 years old and never in my life has anyone told me to wear glasses I could not see anything out of. I don?t think they know what they are doing. The exam was $155 and the frame and lenses were $447.96. Which I found ridiculous! Please, if you get glasses there and an exam and it?s wrong, PLEASE turn them in. Pros: NONE Cons: SERVICE, PRODUCT, EVERYTHING more
