I visit this Mall a lot. One of my favorite places. True it is a fair distance, but worth the trip. I wish our mall was bigger.

Easy to find and lots to do. 4/19/2006

When we drive south on U.S.19 we like to head for Countryside Mall. This used to be a real bottle neck for traffic before they built the overpass. Therefore you have to get off U.S.19 before hitting 580. The signs are excellent from U.S.19. There is parking all around the mall. We always make a note of which entrance and store we came in from. Also what level we are on. There are 2 levels to this mall. We just love to watch the kids on the ice skating rink. It is nice from the ground level but so pretty to see looking down from the top. Plenty of shops to choose from. Penny's, Sear's and Dillard's are the main stays but Radio Shack, Verizon, and all the other phone shops too. Lots of jewelery stores and stands in the middle. A Ruby Tuesday's restaurant, coffee shops, and the inevitable food court. Starbucks also have a couple of places in here too. There is plenty for the kids as well as adults. All in all a great place to shop. We also love just walking around to get our 10,000 steps a day in. It sure beats the Florida sun pounding on you. more

HUGE mall! 3/29/2006

This is a fantastic shopping mall! Unfortunately for myself, I live pretty far away from it. However, I often like to car pool with my sister and friends and head down to Countryside Mall. It is well worth the drive because they have so much more to offer than smaller malls like Gulf View Square mall. They have a huge skating rink, as well as two levels with tons of stores above and below. Everything you can imagine from Candy stores, teens clothing shops, books and booths to Eastern imports, furniture, art and decor. Everything under the sun! They also have a massive food court with foods appealing to just about any palette! It smells so delicious! It is a lot of walking but certainly worth it if you love to shop! more
