I found Dr. Hoey and Dr Pietka to be very caring and competent doctors. Unfortunately the office staff is neither. When coming in for an illness - severe upper respiratory infection, I was told to fill out all new forms over again despite having been a patient for several years. The 'nice' lady behind the counter refused to help me even though I was having difficulty enough breathing and reading the small print on my insurance card. They she tried to bully me into signing a paper with my credit/debit card number giving them authorisation to bill anything the insurance didn't cover. They are in-network...insurance should cover anything medically necessary.
And right there on the form is stated clearly that if they were to do that they would NOT notify you. So you could wind up bouncing things all over and not even realise your account had been drained by this policy. I refused and the ""nice lady"" gave me a hard time about it. I may be leaving this group, that is how upset I was.
