Leesport Animal Hospital

Love all of the Dr.'s and clinical staff. Dr. Priebe is my personal fave. He's always been helpful, and seems to tolerate me being a neurotic dog Mom! more

I decided to write a reveiw about LPR after having to take my dog to another kennel for our last vacation because LPR was full. I guess I waited to long to make my reservation. The other kennel I took him to gave him a larger area (4'X6' run) but that's the only good thing I can say. After seeing what else is out there, I will NEVER take my dog anywhere but LPR again. It is clean, air conditioned well and so professional. I know my dog is being pampered there rather than just given a cage for the week. My dog can go to the bathroom on grass like at home - - not an area of his cement run that he chooses to use. He gets social time with other dogs. He and his toys always come back in great shape & he smells great. The place I took him to last week had cats just roaming around the place and one apparently decided to chew up my dog's food bag. Yuck! Maybe it's because I am not a "country girl" but I love the feel of LPR and have complete confidence in them. more

We frequently take our 8 yr old border collie mix to LPR when we are on vacation or just away for the day. They are extremely nice people and you can tell they really love animals. The place is clean and bright and we are more than comfortable leaving her there. They also graciously accomodate our request for special feeding, always washing and returning our food containers. I would definitely recommend anyone take their pet to this resort. more

Dr. Elo & her staff were angels that fretful Sat. back in October 2008 for us. I can't say enough about the care our dog received for 13.5 years from them. Now we're onto our 2nd furry friend and they are just as dedicated to him. \r \r The facility is clean, warm & friendly and extremely affordable! more

I regularly board two cocker spaniels at Leesport Pet Resort. They are always very excited to go and strain at their leashes to get into the place. The staff is very friendly and professional. Prices are reasonable and include a free bath. The groomer who works there is also very good. Optional services include daily massages, walks in the woods, and (free) play time with other friendly dogs. They even have a limo for pet drop-off and pick-up! Plus there is a veterinary hospital right next door and, because they go to an affiliated animal hospital, the Resort has computer access to their medical records. I leave them with complete peace of mind knowing they will be well cared for, and enjoy their little vacation as much as I enjoy mine. And they come home happy, clean and with fresh hair-cuts! I love LPR because they are friendly,courteous and they really care about the animals that they care for. My dog Max had a problem with being overly protective when anyone tried to take him from me to get groomed or boarded,however their staff was so patient and bent down and talked to him until he was comfortable enough to go back with them They have great hours that are very convenient for pick up or drop off. Fairly priced and they have many "amenities"for the animals and long runners for them to get their exercise. I would refer this to any/all that would ask for a referral. more

I have taken all five of my dogs here for over ten years and also my foster rescue dogs. Dr. Priebe saved my Pug's life after he was seriously injured by an attack from a large dog. Their care is topnotch! more

I have a large long hair cat. We take him to Leesport Pet Resort when we can because they do the best job with him. \r He doesn't like to get his hair cut and has bitten other groomers. It had gotten to teh point that we almost gave up tryiing to get him groomed. A friend recommended the LPR, and that was the best referral ever. \r Murray went there and the washed, dried and cut him and said he was an angel for them. I was so surprised. They said they had no problems with him, and I thought they were talking about someone else's cat!\r I don't know what they do different, but they don't seem to have any problem, and he looks totally relaxed when I pick him up!\r Great job, and the price was about what I paid everywhere else I took him. Oh, and I was able to drop him off and pick him up later. That was awesome because I had been to several groomers that made the owners stay there if they brought a cat for grooming. more
