Best

Two words, HOMEMADE SAUCE! The food is DELICIOUS! Large portions, great selection of entrées from pasta, sandwiches, salads, and the desserts are hands down...sinful. I'll also me...

Worst

I visited Lebro's not knowing what I was walking in to.. wish I could've kept it that way. Not only did the food take forever to prepare (we sat for over an hour) it was horrible....

Editorial review from Citysearch 10/2/2012

First time, last time. Over rated, over priced. Food was terrible. Burnt eggplant parm. When the server was told, all she said was ""sorry"". Owners need to do more if they want customers to come back. more

not as other reviews portray 10/15/2011

My husband and i were invited out to this restaurant. I had no idea what type of restaurant so i looked at all the reviews. was reluctant to go, but we were pleasantly surprised. we went early and had drinks at bar while waiting for the rest of our party on 10/15/2011. bartenders were very attentive even though there were regulars at the bar. we had a spinach bread appetizer (very good). when the rest of our party arrived we moved to a table with no problems staff was friendly and service was good. food was pretty good not the best italian i've had but certainly not the worst. prices were reasonable. i'm glad we went cause if we were not invited by friends the reviews would have swayed us. more

Food and Service terrible 4/6/2011

I visited Lebro's not knowing what I was walking in to.. wish I could've kept it that way. Not only did the food take forever to prepare (we sat for over an hour) it was horrible. The calamari we ordered for an appetizer wasn't cooked fully. I ordered pasta as my entree, It was a large lump of spaghetti with oil dumped on it and some herbs. It smelled horrible it literally made me sneeze, and was some how tasteless. The others at my table had equivalent dishes. Specifically the Veal, it was rubbery and soggy, soaked in a lemon sauce. I wouldn't recommend this place to an enemy. Oh and to top it off.. very expensive, definitely not worth the money. What a disappointment. more

Keep your money, cause it's NOT worth it!!!! 4/6/2011

Because we heard good things about Lebro's, we decided to give it a shot. Upon walking in we immediately felt out of place, as if the regulars and staff were wondering why we were there. None the less we decided to sit down and give it a try.......what a MISTAKE. Our table of four ordered two appetizers and then four entrees with each getting worse and worse. The four entries were all pasta dishes and were all equally terrible and tasteless. If you know good Italian, I can assure you that you will be disappointed. I decided to write this review to warn anyone else that was mislead by the ""good"" reviews for Lebro's.......either the source is a regular or a worker there. I have no idea how anyone else could give Lebro's more than one star. Save your money and time by getting a frozen Italian meal at tops. more

Amazing Food, Lebro's on my mind. 12/17/2010

Two words, HOMEMADE SAUCE! The food is DELICIOUS! Large portions, great selection of entrées from pasta, sandwiches, salads, and the desserts are hands down...sinful. I'll also mention this establishment is family owned and very friendly and courteous to their patrons and neighborhood. My husband and I went recently and ordered the garlic cheese bread as an appetizer. We both order whole pasta dishes. He got the Baked Lasagna and I got the Crab Ravioli w/ Creamy Tomato Sauce which come w/ either soup or salad. Their house dressing is so creamy and rich, a golden poppyseed, you'll want to dip everything in it. We also got two glasses of wine and our bill was around 60ish after tip. A couple could eat well between 25-50 at this place. You will have to-go boxes, I promise. The service was great. Our server was very kind and attentive. She didn't hang around table, but our glasses were never empty either. My only slight complaint is the dining rooms are quite snug and can get a bit noisy on weekend/holiday nights. They are candle lit and very intimate which for me makes up a little. This place is a must. Come hungry! more

VERY Unfriendly! Not worh the trip. 1/26/2008

Our server never once smiled the entire time we were in the restaurant. She dropped things on the table as she almost ran past us, even though it was not busy at all. She appeared much friendlier to a nearby table, which consisted of patrons she knew. There were several regulars at the bar. \r \r If you're not a regular you may feel like we did -- like we were unwanted guests in someone's living room!\r \r The BLT was passable, but the fish fry was a bit overseasoned. Simple would have been much better.\r \r And all that, for about $50 for four people for lunch -- what a bargain!\r more

Awesome Sandwiches and Roast Beef 5/18/2007

I have worked in the restaurant business and do some catering myself.\r Our company recently had Lebro's cater a retirement luncheon and \r provided sandwiches. There was an awesome vegetarian-type sandwich\r that I think had portobello mushrooms, a seasoned grilled chicken, and\r to my delight, a roast beef sandwich that was of the highest quality I had\r seen in 15 years. It was not your average sliced deli-style roast beef that has\r overrun most of the restaurants, nor did it seem like an 'institutionally-prepared'\r roast beef either--it was real top round, probably cooked right at Libro's, and it was\r rare-ish and tender and lean and perfect. The restaurants I had worked at had cooked real\r top round in a steam oven also, and let me say this is not an easy thing to do well.\r And to think I live right around the corner from there and barely knew. I will visit\r your restaurant more often, that's for sure! more

Original 9/23/2004

So many restaurant owners want to be original, and want to have that neighborhood friendly vibe to it. Well, only one restaurant has met both criterias, Lebros. Lebros is family owned, has had the same friendly staff for many, many years, have the wooden bar ""where everbody knows your name,"" and has owners who not only own the restaurant, they cook, clean, host, bartend, and run the back of the house. This is not a chain restaurant where the food is McDonalized, this is a real restaurant that meet everbodies needs, including the ld world Italians that are still left in Buffalo. Dress casual, dress classy, laugh out loud, or listen around you, get a juicy burger, the best fish fry on a Fridat, or the pasta dish from the heavens. Its all there waiting for you! Go ahead, try it...... Pros: comfortable/friendly, Inexpensive, delicious food more
