I am a resident of the neighborhood and have thus used the place because of its convenient location, though I will never do so again in the future. I fully disclose that I do not understand a great deal about cars and servicing requirements. That said, I believe that many service spots can take advantage, I know for a fact that Adiq does so regularly. I have spent hundreds at this shop seemingly without cause. Please avoid this maintenance repair shop and look elsewhere for your car service needs. They have proven that they will take advantage. more

Do not let them service your car. It will be worse when you leave. My car was running poorly and I took it in there for service because of their convient location. They charged me and the problem did not go away. I took it back serveral times and told them that it was not fixed. The symptoms were still present and the check engine light was still on. They kept telling me they could not find anything wrong and that they they did not notice the symptoms. They told me that I just needed to use high octane gas and drive it more and then (magically I suppose) the check engine light will turn off and the problem will go away. Eventually the car stalled and left me stranded. I had it towed back to them. They replaced parts they said they had already serviced. The problem came back almost immediately. Again I asked them to fix it. I left the car with them for a week and they did not even look at it. Eventually I took it to the dealer and they discovered that the wiring to many of the parts they serviced was damaged and several of the parts they serviced needed to be replaced again. more

My car wouldnt start and I called Lawrence/Ashland b/c I knew they had towing service. They offered to look at my car and give me an estimate. They quoted me over 1,000 for a new alternator. When i called them back after consulting with a colleague about the cost to repair he said it was outrageous. So I called the mechanic back and told him I could do it cheaper elsewhere. He said he would do it for 600 something and when he quoted me over a thousand he was including something i didnt even ask for. So, I was desperate and didnt want to pay to get it re-towed somewhere else. So they suposedly *fix* it al the time being very rude to me when I had questions. Why did I even allow this to happen? I feel like a moron. Cons: Do not get your car fixed here, do not let them tow your car. more

Took my car here because it was close to my apartment. Had them fix the fuel pump and brakes for a ton of money. A few weeks later my car died and I brought it back to them. They gave me a $1000 estimate to get a new crank sensor and do a complete tune-up (even though I'd had one done about 1 1/2 years earlier and don't drive much). When I told them I had to think about it they offered me a 20% discount, which made me very uneasy. Pros: they'll drive you to the el Cons: they'll rip you off! more
