The Turner Building, located at 101 E. Henderson Street, Cleburne, Johnson County, Texas was converted into a thriving law practice by Dick's father, Gean B. Turner, in 1974. Gean gathered together his son, Dick, along with his nephew and son-in-law to create The Turner Law Firm. Dick's father had already been practicing law for over forty years concentrating his practice in criminal law, family law, and personal injury law. In addition to Gean Turner's legal practice, he was also involved in numerous philanthropic activities in Cleburne, Texas and also served as a trustee on the Texas Christian University Board of Trustees in Fort Worth, Texas.
