I DO NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE JUST LOOKING FOR FUN! 6/19/2009

I do NOT recommend Lauri Gray's unless you are looking for completely structured and hectic place to learn dance. During the year the kids have 1 hour classes once a week, these classes are fun for the kids and instructional. Then comes summer and it is time for the recital. Children as young as 3 are expected to go to 3+ hour long rehearsals multiple times a week and then for ""The Big Day"" expected to be there from 9am to 6-7pm with only an hour and a half for lunch. Not to mention the fact that come recital time the costs just keep adding up. more

Good for small children 1/21/2006

I recommend this school for pre-school age children. Lauri is a great and patient teacher for the very young child, but I would not stay with the school if your dancer is interested in more serious training. Mine was, and we went through a few schools until I discovered Morgan Hill Dance Center, even though I cant vouch for their pre-school, since I no longer have children that age. I would choose Lauris for pre-school and Morgan Hill Dance for a more serious dancer. Pros: patient teacher Cons: no technique, not modest more
