Lauren's Closet

This is a second hand store priced as if things were brand new! WAY over priced, and the womens clothes qulity stinks! Don't waste your time trying to sell off your clothes either, if you bring it in you will be lucky to sell Laurens closet any more than 7.00 worth of clothing! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! more

I have been to pretty much all the resale kids stores in the bay area, and i will have to say that Lauren's Closet has BY FAR the best selection around. You can find something from infants to now they carry Juniors clothes. I can see why people get mad and think that Lauren's Closet is snobby, but you know i have to say that i first thought that until they explained to me why they buy the way they do. They only buy current season and brand names that are in style and not more than a couple of years old. Thats why i go there, i find GREAT stuff. Plus they sell new items from clothes to carseats, ect. A True Value! more

I have spent $100's of dollars at Lauren's closest over of years. Their clothes are very hit or miss since they are second hand. After looking at lots of drab worn ugly clothing, I may find one or two items sometimes that's worth while. Because Lauren's Closest buys clothes, recently I thought that I should take some of my daughter's Old Navy and other barely worn clothes to sale to Lauren's Closest. Lately I hadn't found any nice clothes for my daughter at Lauren's Closest. I thought they could probably use some cute nice clothes for resale. After looking through my clothes, the clerk and buyer at Lauren's Closest said they couldn't use any of my clothes because some were out of style and others worn. These clothes were winter clothes for 2-3 years old very in style for this age group. I found the clerk and buyer's attitude rude and offensive. I won't shop here again. more

Lauren's Closet has lots of very nice, barely-used clothing for the fashion-conscious tot. The staff can be aloof to downright condescending, but the clothes are very nice, as are the toys. A good place to find a special outfit. more
