Lance turf specialties did a great job on my mower and weed eater they were fast professional and man was the price reasonable very reasonable Ross took it in personally courteous an and friendly I can't even believ the other things I'm re the other things I'm reading on this site !!!! THIS PLACE TOOK OUR COMPANIES MONEY AND…\r THIS PLACE TOOK OUR COMPANIES MONEY AND RAN!!! THERE OWNER HUNG UP ON TWO COMPANIES IN THE VALLEY THAT WE HAD CALLED TO HAVE THEM TELL THE ISSUE TO ANOTHER PROSSIONAL CAUSE THEY NEVER MADE SENSE.\r \r WE BROUGHT A WORKING MOTOR IN WITH A MINOR OIL LEAK THAT WE NEEDING FIXED> THEY TOLD WOULDNT BE BUT A WK....WELL THAT CAME AND GONE AND WE called and they told us they fixed were THEY thought the leak was coming from but their was still leak so they would need to START WITH THE REAR MAIN SEAL LIKE WE TOLD THEM!! WELL DAYS WENT BYE SO WE CALLED AGAIN and they SATARTED TELLING US THEY RAN INTO ANOTHER PROBLEM THAT THE MAIN CAM SAFT WAS BENT AND THEY NEED TO ORDER ANOTHER ONE. wELL WE SAID DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO TO MAKE THIS DEPENDABLE ---EVERYTIME THEY CALLED THE SAID IT WAS GOING TO BE MORE MONEY. wELL ABOUT A MONTH LATER WE GOT THE VAN BACK FROM LANCES AND TOOK IT OUT TO THE JOB SITE AND IT RAN FOR ABOUT 1/2 HOUR AND DYED AND DIDNT WONT TO START AGAIN. \r \r WELL WE WAITED THREW HOLIDAY WKEND AND TOOK IT BACK IN WERE THEY SAID THEY STOOD BYE THERE WORK SO BRING IT IN.\r \r (remember it ran like champ before going there just oil leak) \r \r WHEN ARRIVING THEY LOOKED OVER ENGINE AND SAID THEY THOUGHT IT WAS FLOODED. I GAVE THE KEYS TO HIM AND HE SAID HE WOULD BE IN TOUCH SHORTLY....WELL NO CALL SO WE CALLED THE FOLLOWING DAY AND THEY STATED THEY NEEDED TO ADJUST THE CARBS AND THEY WOULD GET BACK SHORTLY...WELL NO CALL,,,,,CALLED THE NEXT DAY AND THEY STATED THEY WERE SORRY BUT THEY HAD TO ORDER A NEW STARTER COIL ......WELL AT THIS POINT I WAS USPET AND CALLED OUR CAR AUTO MECH, WERE HE STATED HE WOULD CALL AND SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON CAUSE THIS WASNT ADDING UP oil leak tooooo ALL OF THESE ISSUES THERE WAS NOTHING MECH. What a rip off!! 4/27/2012

I marked this one star, but if there was a 0 star to mark i would give it a 0 . I hired this place last Oct. 2011 he had our riding lawn mower for 7 weeks, only called right at first to say he needed money to order some parts. He never called back, i finally got in touch with him after the first week and a half to have him say he had broke one of the new belts we sent with the mower to be replaced and that he was waiting for it to come in. I guess he was never going to call and tell us this as we just waited and waited until WE called him and found this out. Still even at that the weeks went by. 7 weeks i kid you not. Finally the mower arrived home, the guy he has you pay to pick up your mower with his trailer, showed up and slid it into the driveway without so much as a knock on the door. It was so late in the season by then that we mowed one time, it appeared to run rough but we gave it the benefit of the doubt after paying him 480.00 that we had if cover, since we had asked him to go clear thru it and fix everything possible that could need repair so that we wouldnt have to worry about problems in the Spring. We even started it thru out the winter right where it sat to keep the fluids moving. Starting it wasnt the problem, keeping it running was. So first thing in the Spring on Mothers day afternoon, my spouse went to mow and it wouldnt stay running, same problems all over again. Lances gladly had it picked up, kept it this time just a week and half. Again his drop off guy slid it in and dropped it off without so much as knock on the door, but it had a note on it that all had been checked out and it was in good running condition the note said. We once more attempted to mow, and after two rounds same problem AGAIN it wouldnt stay running. I called Lances and he was willing to haul it in again, this time we had to let it go, we figured after twice he would just find something else to have a pay for. My advice, GO TO SOMEONE ELSE. TERRIBLE, AND I STRESS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I let him know that having a mower slid into your driveway without so much as a knock on the door is BAD BUSINESS. It just doesnt feel right for the customer, feels sneaky! Again SAVE YOUR MONEY AND HEADACHE!! more

Ross and the people working there know what they need to do to get the job done. Not only done, but done right. They take care of you from the moment you walk in the door and make you feel important. Shotty Service and Overpriced 9/30/2009

Took my Briggs and Stratton pump motor to him to get it running more consistent. Charges $60 per hour to work on small engines! For real, there is nothing to small engines. In shop class we had to be able to fully disassemble and reassemble a Briggs motor in an hour long class. In short he wanted $90 for a carb kit, an item that costs in the ball park of $12 and maybe takes a half hour to 45 minutes to complete. To top it off when I went to pick up my engine it was disassembled and in pieces after he charges me $15 for diagnostics. I brought it to him with a full tank of gas. He should have at least put it back together and maybe put gas back in it. If you are looking for a place to fix small engines, look up the small backyard mechanics... they'll probably be more professional. Pros: Nice Guy Cons: Overpriced Half-Assed Work more

Absolutely the worst customer service ever! Avoid at all cost! 8/19/2008

For starters, I took my mower to Lances on June 23rd, and they gave me a turn around time of 10 days. Not even close! Absolutely the worst service I have ever recieved. They had the mower for 2 months and never returned phone calls after I have left numerous messages. Dave the so called manager is a total moron with no idea of how the run a business. If Lance was alive to see this, he would be just as disappointed as I am. I""m sure he's rolling in his grave. When I picked up the mower, they broke a spring spindle and did not inform me, it was very non professionaly re welded, not expecting me to notice. My machine now performs worse. They try to blame everything on Toro for backordered items, but once I got in touch with Toro in Minnesota and found out they never placed the order until July 11th, that gave me all the proof I needed to place complete blame on Lances turf, and on Dave and Ross Stoley. I finally got my mower on August 19th in unsatifactory conditon. If you are at all thinking about taking your mower to these incompetent imbeciles, please reconcider! No one should have to go through what I did! Go to another reputable dealer. To end, I have reported this incident and hope I have saved you the trouble of having to go to these wanna be mower mechanics. Cons: everything about them more
