I knew Tony when he first got started in the business as a technician at a large car dealership in Rochester. (in fact, I was his supervisor at the time). I was happy to learn that he had gone on to opening his own independent shop in Brockport NY. I have used Lakeside automotive for the last 5-6 years, Tony does his best to repair your car as quickly as possible but also does the job at the right speed so nothing gets overlooked in the process. Lakeside has honored every manufacturers warranty for my repairs and charged very reasonable rates for labor compared to many other independent garages and a lot less than going to a dealer. If something comes in that he can't do he will tell you that upfront and not make more of a mess for repairs by trying it anyways, but so far there hasn't been anything he couldn't do. Tony lives in the community and you will see him around town or at the store occasionally so his reputation is very important to him when it comes to his garage and the work they do, he couldn't live here if Lakeside was a butcher shop of a garage. It's very hard to find someone in the automotive repair business that is honest, fair with his price and dedicated to making sure his customers satisfied so if they ever need anything even if it as simple as putting air in your tires putting in a new motor. I had a problem with my car overheating....I was able to bring the car in and have it diagnosed and repaired the same day. Tony, the owner was very knowledgeable and did his best to repair the car for the least possible price. I felt he was being honest and that was what I was looking for.
