My husband and I are regulars at this location and LOVE it! The menu is huge, food good and the staff here are wonderful. We cannot say enough good things about this grill and love to go there for a quick bite. The only bummer is that we didn't find this location sooner. more

There is not one thing on this menu that stands out for the right reasons and because we live close we've tried to give different items a try and everything is always sub-par. Unless you sit next to the kitchen door where the waitresses have to look at you, then you will get crappy service. The beer is rarely cold and the management chooses to hire waitresses with an attitude or maybe they are just upset that the owners make 2 of them take care of the entire 40 tables in the place while the one owner sits on his butt and does nothing. A friend told us about this place. We met him here Sat. night for dinner and to watch the band. Both were great! Menu was waaaayyyy better than most sports bars. Great food!! The waitress we had was HOOOOOTTTTT!!!!! Awesome body and beautiful! My boyfriend wanted to take her home with us!!! He also liked all the plasma tv's they have. The band was really good and a lot of fun. It was super busy so we had to go to the bar once or twice to get drinks but for the most part the service was good. They have a smoking patio which is a plus now days. Very casual and non threatening like a lot of clubs. It's close to home so we will be back. Especially when that waitress is working!!!!! This is a sports bar which offers great food! The menu is mostly appetizers, salads and sandwiches with a full bar. Enjoy Poker night and great service and this place is recommended for a casual dining experience. more

i think that the lunchtime bartender on tue, wed, and fri is awsome....and HOT. The beer is ice cold and the burgers are even better. i think that the location is great and the 30 televisions are second to none. i have been to several sports bars in the area and this beats any of them by far. My company just had our Cristmas party at Lagerfields. WOW!! That about sums it up! We reserved their private room. It only seats about 60 people or so and we had over 100 but we occupied some of the main bar too. Man did they put out a spread of food! Prime Rib, chicken, roasted potato's with a garlic butter, salad, rolls dessert ect..., I mean the whole nine yards and it was DELICIOUS!! Cudo's to the lady that was in charge of getting the food together! They have a seperate bar in this room and the bartender was great and when she was busy, a man came in to give her some help. They even provided a live band for us. Awesome!! Played great music and everyone was dancin the night away! I had never been there before and noticed they had quite a few plasma screen tv's. The waitress told us that Sunday's were the day that everyone came in to watch the NFL. My son is in town so we decided to go watcha little football. Wow! They were busy! They must have had 10 games on and people everywhere! The food was just as good as it was a couple of days prior. The waitresses were very friendly and as on top of things as much as they could have been! It must have been the owners that took care of our party because I saw the same people on Sunday helping out as well. I will definetly tell my friends about this place. It is close to the mall too which is great! Thanks Lagerfields for a great time. Pros: Very attentive and friendly staff. Great atmosphere for watching sports. We just visited Lager Fields on Sunday, wanted to watch our poor Cardinals get creamed. Don't think I've ever had worse service. Food was extremely slow , which could have been forgiven if our waitress could have managed to bring our drinks. Twice, we got up to get them from the bar ourselves (after they had sat there awhile). Our waitress was very proud of us for managing to find them on our own, said it made her job easier. Hmmmm? When the food finally arrived I mentioned to the waitress that none of us had silverware, thought she would have at least hurried after this item, but no, still we waited another 5 minutes. Finally, after we ate what we could of bad fried fish (overcooked and frankly, not a good fillet anyway) ,we asked for our check. She brought us the wrong one of course, we flagged her down again and got the right one. Upon paying, we told her up front that we were unhappy with the service, she said that they were short staffed. We did not tip her with the bill and as we were leaving, she actually came back to inform us that she worked for tips. We had to explain to her that we understood that tipping was for "good" service, NOT what we received. We stopped several different staff people while we were there and I'm pretty sure the owners were on site. I saw a man dressed in regular clothes (owner?) who was going around bussing tables, he wasn't stopping at the tables to see if anyone needed anything however. We would never go back. As the owner of this establishment, I just wanted to respond to rebeccaroo ( below ). I remember these people distinctly. When they came in, they were upset that I would not turn all the other tv's volume down so they could hear their game. We have over 30 tv's! Mind you there were about 200 other people watching 9 other games as well. As far as being understaffed goes, yes we had one waitress call in sick however we still had 5 servers, 1 bartender and 3 cooks working that day. I am sorry that you had to wait a little longer than normal but as you saw, every table in our 300 seat maximum capacity restaurant was taken. After I turned up the television that was closest to them, the waitress came back and said they wanted to know if they ordered 5 burgers, could they be done in 25 minutes. Unfortunatley, we are not a fast food restaurant and we cook ALL of our food to order. Our 1/2 pound burgers take about 15 minutes to cook to a medium heat. There were about 20 orders in front of them so she told them no. They ordered a plate of homemade nachos and fish and chips. We serve Icelandic Cod that is fresh battered with homemade potato chips that are deep fried. Sell tons every Friday as a special! Their Nachos were gone completely! Yes, you did see the owner and I was in regular clothes. Whatever that means???? As for the waitress, I will talk to her and see what exactly happened so we can improve. I am sorry she wasn't as attentive as you needed her to be. We were extremely busy and I am sorry rebeccaroo and friends had a bad experience. Maybe they will give us another try. However, if you have a time constraint, may I suggest not coming in at 1:30 on Sunday afternoon during football season. We do have a fairly large dinner crowd on Saturday night but not nearly as busy as Sunday afternoon. That may be a more suitable time for your group. As always, thank you for your input. So we were looking for a place to watch football this season. We found it! Plasma tv's everywhere with awesome pictures. Looks like they are updating things from what I can tell. They have both college and NFL football packages. The food is outstanding. They have a lunch menu and a dinner menu. Lots to choose from. The salads are HUGE!!! Burgers are great too! They also have a TON of beer selections. Probably 15 or so beers on draft and a bunch of different bottled beer. The waitress was nice and kept checking back with us to see if everything was ok. The prices were good also for being in PV. The girls and I will be here on Sat and Sun for football for sure. Pros: Great food and service. Awesome TV's Cons: Patio is a little small more

I signed up just to write a review on Lager Fields. I have been in and out of Lager Fields the past 3 years. I have never seen the place look better! Not only is the Menu great but they have 1/2 off burgers on Wednesday along with Trivia. The place has really improved. PROBLEM..... the girl serving the food. Not only did we wait with empty glasses and our empty plates for 30 min, but she was annoyed and seemed to be interested in the young guys around the bar. What a same! Don't get me wrong... the other two blondes were running around like crazy. I recommend the bar... but make sure you get a blonde waitress. *Note to waitress - IMPROVE or QUIT! This place has great food and great TV's! Pool tables , video golf, darts and all the things a typical sports bar would have but BETTER! It just gives you the feeling of being in an upscale place. The patio is nice for us smokers. Has misters. I'm not sure but I think the guy complaining about service was having a bad day or maybe the waitress was but I have been here about 10 times and the service is always good! I think one of the owners even helps out. Great selection of beer! Draft beer is served in an ICE COLD MUG! The prices are reasonable too. I thought it might be a little expensive being in Paradise Valley but it's not. Sounds like they are getting ready for a huge football season. I overheard one of the waitresses talking about an alumni group bringing in a lot of people on Saturdays when college football starts. Try to get a beer or make a food order from the crappy waitress. It's really comical. If she does take a quck beer order she forgets it, you go to the bar and order and it doesn't even occur to her that she forgot about you. The sad part is it wasn't that busy. I felt sorry for her. IF you do get your order place the food is pretty good. Pros: Good Food, Friendly Crowd Cons: The worst service , bar none. This is based on mulitple trips. more

A friend and I stopped in on Wednesday night to grab a bite to eat. Very glad we did. We were looking for somewhere that wasn't to loud or smoky and this place was just that. They had basebal and basketball on about 20 or so plasma tv's( very nice looking tv's) if your into that. So, we had dinner. We ordered the mussles in garlic sauce seared Ahi tuna and a burger. They were all great! The burger was UNBELIEVABLE!!! 100% real meat!! No egg or breadcrumbs to screw up the burger! We were getting ready to pay our tab and the waitress told us they were getting ready to start trivia. We checked it out and it was a blast!! A girl asks questions and you fill out an answer sheet. After 3 rounds(about 2 hours) we ended up gettin 2nd place!!! How FUN!! We won a gift certificate! It's a very fun place and seems to have a fun crowd and wait staff. My friends and I were out on St Patty's Day and didn't want to go to a place that was OVERcrowded with 300 or 400 people. So we decided to avoid the typical places with tents in the parking lots. Well, we ended up at Lagerfields. What a surprise!! We got there around 4:30 and got the last high top table. It was busy but not overly busy. College basketball on every plasma they had. Someone who worked there (possibly the owner) was constantly on top of getting the new games on and making sure that his staff was on top of things. We ordered food off of the dinner menu and WOW, it was great. Honestly, I expected normal bar food but it was totally restaraunt quality!! I had shrimp scampi over linguini with a garlic and capers sauce!! It was as good as I've had at any upscale italian resaraunt! We decided to stay for the band and play some pool. The band was great. They played all the old favs from the 80's and 90's. Lots of people dancing. They had 6 or 7 drink specials all night long. Needless to say we had a great night! It was very busy but the right kind of busy. The waitresses were always there to check on our drinks and there were no altercations like I see at so many other places!!! We are putting Lagerfield's on our list of favorite places to go. Oh by the way. I saw a sign saying they had industry night on Monday and Tuesday night. Being in the industry, it's nice to see places that support us. Pros: Service was good and food was good! more

Lagerfield's is one of the best sports bars I've ever been to! They have plasma tv's everywhere!!! And they are really big so you can see them from anywhere you sit. The thing I really like is that they have a very cool layout. You can sit in the restaurant part of the place that is elevated so you can have a nice dinner yet look down on the bar area to see what's going on. They also have a patio that we could have sat in. Also, their menu is huge!! I bet it has 70 or 80 things to choose from! Everything from burgers to italian dishes like shrimp scampi over linguini with a GREAT scampi sauce. (this is what I had and it was OUTSTANDING) The girl that helped us was very energetic and we were never left asking for something. It was a Saturday night when we were there and the place was packed but one thing that impressed me was that I noticed they had several waitresses so the service was great. They also had a live band that started at 9:00. So, so so much fun! Thay played songs that everyone knows and we danced till 1:00 in the morning. Another little cool thing is that the pool table area is elevated and it's right next to the dance floor so you can see the band really well. All I can say is that I will definetly be a frequent customer of Lagerfields. The waitress said they had new ownership as of about 6 months ago. Kudos to the new owners because from some people I talked to that night, they have made some great improvements! Oh yea, I almost forgot.. I was trying to find the bathroom and stumbled across this room. Turns out it is a totally seprate, private bar area. My server said that people rent it out for parties. It is sooo cool. It has a pool table and a full bar. It is totally seperated from the rest of the bar and has it's own stereo system so you can listen to your own music if you don't like the band or what's on the jukebox!!! As you can tell, I had a great time! You should check this place out. I thionk you'll like it. Pros: Food was great. Service was great. Band was GREAT! Cons: Bathroom needed a little work. Booths could stand to be recovered. more
