If you have an appliance issue, call these guys! When my range oven quit working I googled appliance repair in the area and of course Sears pops up first. I scheduled an appointment online with them only to find out they couldn't come out for 2 weeks. In a family that cooks, being without an oven for that long is more than an inconvenience to say the least! I called Sears directly to see if they could get to me faster and no such luck, they didn't even seem to care.
I came across LaPlante on citysearch and called them. The person who answered the phone was extremely friendly and told me that they were all booked up for over a week. Disappointed I explained my situation to which she said she would call the technician and see if he could work me in sooner. And they did!! Now that's customer service! Plus, the entire repair cost only $30 more than what Sears wanted just to come out here.
