I am moving from LVB after being a long-term resident. The management has gone down hill and its as if owners have given up on finding a quality manager. The effects are starting to show. If you walk in on the disinterested, rude young manager while she's talking to her boyfriend, you will stand there waiting to be acknowledged, waiting for her to finish her call and then be treated hatefully for interrupting. You can hear one of the maintenance guys pull up with his pounding music and gold rims well before he arrives at the complex. Do I really want this guy having free access to my apartment?? Security has become much more lax - delinquent teenagers lurking in the parking areas (several cars have been stolen), drunks smoking and drinking in the common areas and new tenants propping the doors open so their friends can get in easily - so much for the secured building. The aforementioned manager does nothing and shows discontent for those who complain. She's just a body who fills the chair and is there for her paycheck - and it shows. Escalating to upper management does no good. Tenant needs fall on deaf ears!! I used to love La Vida Buena and now strongly suggest potential tenants look elsewhere!
Pros: Great first impression
Cons: first impression is a lie
