great location and food 10/13/2005

La tomate is located only a few blocks off the dupont circle metro. They have a nice, intimate space—a great place to take a date! Their Italian food is standard and quite good, if homey and not very inventive. It’s definitely a comfort-food kind of place… somewhere you go when you don’t feel like having something new and weird. more

Delicous food 8/27/2005

La Tomate serves delicious italian meals. The service was wonderful- our server was attentive and the food came in a timely manner. The food was wonderful- the best gnocci I've ever had. They had a nice wine list too. Overall it was a very nice evening out, and it is located in Dupont Circle so there's plenty to see and do before or after dinner out. The restaurant is steps from the Dupont Circle metro. more
