The La Quinta in Cary is the nicest La Quinta I've stayed in - the rooms and bathrooms are large, the service is friendly and the continental breakfast offers more than just danishes and orange juice.
We stayed with our two small children who enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. There's a Walmart and Harris Teeter just around the bend from the hotel - something you won't notice with all the trees in the way. There aren't signs on the road for many of the stores, so it's best to ask questions before heading out. Even gas stations are tucked away behind tall, green hedges.
The continental breakfast offers a wide variety of foods from fresh fruits and fruit salad to a make-your-own-waffle bar.
All around, a nice place to stay, and just minutes from golf courses, businesses and the Hemlock Bluffs Wildlife Preserve.
