Rosinella's is Really a Authentic Italian restaurant!! If you never been to Europe (Italy) you wont really appreciate Rosinella's!! Most Commercial Italian Restaurants (Carrabba's, Olive Garden), have a lot of what I call (junk) in the sauce. ex. heavy garlic with a lot of other spices that authentic Italian food would not have!\r more

I'm really surprised to see the negative reviews. It was one of my favorite restaurants while I was on vacation in Miami. Great Italian food, good service and cheap prices! What more can you ask for?\r more

I love this cozy, relaxing place in the heart of Brickell. Good food, low prices, and great selection of margaritas. Our waiter Frankie was very nice, and his suggestions were very helpful. Give this place a chance, try delicious Mexican food, have couple shots of tequila, and have a great time! more

We had a delicious dinner last night at El Vato. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing. We had a pitcher of sangria that was loaded with fruit but not too sweet. And the street tacos were awesome! We tried them all: chicken, pork, beef and fish and they were excellent! Also, the fresh, homemade guacamole was very, very good! We'll be back. :-) more

We've dined here twice, once on a weekday afternoon and once on a weekend evening. I've come away with the same experience both times: The service is pretty poor, and the food is just average.\r \r Both times we went intending to have several rounds of drinks and then food. Both times, we cut our plans short because it was taking so long. Really, how long should it take to pour tequila shots?\r \r We might use it as a take-out stop to get a Mexi fix now and then, but if we want sit-down dining and drinks, we'll pay the premium for Rosa Mex up the street. more

I have visited this restaurant several times and had great experiences! Great food, great ambiance and great service! Today, however, was another story. I went with coworkers for lunch and the service from the waitress was awful. She had a bad attitude, had to take our orders twice and eventually forgot to input an entree and instead of coming to the table and apologizing for the delay she just said "the kitchen is cooking it." When asked by another employee about the entree she went ahead and said "I can't get it out of my a**" a couple feet away from our table. The male servers were extremely helpful and doing all the things the waitress should have been doing (i.e. taking our plates and filling our drinks). She didn't even thank us when handing over the checks. It doesn't take much to share a smile and manners with your patrons especially since it is your job. more

probably the most extensive tequila menu I've seen east of california. service was nothing spectacular and the waitstaff's knowledgeability on the tequila was disappointing. more

A new favorite! The atmosphere was great, with plenty of unique, interesting details everywhere, from the chair-legs to the bathroom sinks. The music was a mix of rock ranging from classics like The Dire Straits, to more modern artists such as The White Stripes. The menu offered a number of traditional dishes including tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and more. All meats are certified humane and almost every dish can be prepared vegan (Daiya vegan cheese & Smart Ground veggie protein are available as substitutions.) The back page of the menu has all the various beverages listed, although as of this posting (6/30/2011), it is in need of an update. The only issue I had was when a drink listed as $10 came up as costing $13 on the check. The staff admitted the blunder, but did not offer any sort of refund. Otherwise, the food was amazing and the atmosphere engaging. The staff frequently checked that everything went well with the meal. Despite the check issue, I still rate this place within my top 5 favorite restaurants in Miami and can't wait to go again. more

Rosinella let me down 7/3/2010

Ok - we eat there often, we like it. The food is fresh, homecooked, and priced fairly. We are from Los Angeles and know good food. We agreed this was good food. Plain and simple. So we go there and I order veal parmesan, they bring me chicken parmesan. Thats ok, its an honest mistake. We tried to tell them, but they were busy, and it was ok. So we didn't complain. At the end of the meal, the check came and I asked them to adjust the price because of the mistake. THEY didn't believe me!! They asked me I ordered and I told them, they agreed, but said that is what they brought me. I said no it was chicken. I said please check what I just had wrapped up. They took the left overs and checked it!!! They came back, with the food wrapped up and gave me the check. The check was adjusted for chicken versus veal, but there was no apology, no saying that is was their mistake. The best part was an 18% gratuity was automatically placed on the check. I decided to let this whole thing go and pay the 18%, but I have decided not to return to Rosinella becuase of their lack of awarness. I thought this place was different that the typical Miami ignorance, but I was wrong. Pros: usually good food and service Cons: brought me the wrong dish, then didnt believe me more

Great Italian 11/12/2005

For excellent Italian food at unbelievably low prices try eithe this location or the one on Lincoln Road. Both places serve great food, except tha (believe it or not) the service is better on South Beach. Both places serve up really tasty sauces over a variety of pastas. Lots of other choices available in meats, chicken and fish. All are good bets. Pros: good food, good prices, nice ambiance more

The true, simple Italian kitchen 9/13/2005

Owned and operated by Mamma Rosinella, 75 year old chef from Rome, Rosinella has been a local favorite for over 10 years because of its consistent, fresh, homemade food. Anyone with a palate sophisticated enough to appreciate what is good, knows Rosinella is the best. more
