Best mex' in Chicago per LA/Albuquerque native 6/26/2006

I've been eating here for 3 years now, and have always been very satisfied with the food. Delicious dishes, friendly people, and sauces made in-house. Rice and beans may not always be consistent, but the very affordable prices more than makeup for any off days. My fiance' who was raised in NM and lived for 11 years in LA (go King Taco!) and lived in Chicago 3 years said of all the places she has been to including locales that serve ""killer"" margaritas, La Cebollita has THE best Mexican fare. Pros: Very affordable, variety of dishes and ingredients, fast service Cons: minor- rice, beans and salsas can vary from day to day more
