It's more than great Pizza 12/28/2008

As a budding vegetarian I recommend the food Highly. The arugala salad was excellent, the dressing perfectly accented the greens. The calamari OMG, tender and the diavlo sausc magnifico! Eggplant Parmesean was not frozen then thawed out with a microwave it was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The fresh mozzerelle and blush of garlic made each dish a memorable taste sensation. The staff was freindly and made you feel like you were in Italy and right at home. Pros: fresh ingredients Cons: the appetizers were so good I did not have room for my food more

Editorial review from GrubHub 10/18/2008

I have eaten here many many times. I love their pizza! They also have the margarita pizza which is crispy and flavorful. \r \r It is not just pizza here. Their rice balls have no meat or peas and can be parmigana or special (plus riccota). I love their eggplant parm and rollatini. Both are filling. In fact, all their dishes are filling.\r \r Anything can be made to order. Want spinach with just sauteed garlic and a whole lemon, done. What extra balsamic on veal capriosa, done. Want extra sauce with veg primavera or any other pasta, done. \r \r The prices may be moderate-high but it is worth it. Large amounts of food, great taste, and friendly service! more

Excellent customer, fantastic pizza, nice place to bring friends and family. 4/11/2008

As a pizza connoiseur I must say that the Brick Oven Pizza is hands down THE best slice of pizza in New York! If you like a thin crust, fresh tomatoes and mozarella then this is the slice for you. They also make great pasta dishes, entrees and salads--try the penne with vodka sauce (you can add chicken or shrimp) for pasta; chicken marsala as an entree; or the baby arugula salad with walnuts, blue cheese, and dried cranberries. All the portions are generous and delicious. No matter what you order you can't go wrong. \r \r Those of you visiting the Coney Island area during the warm weather months would do well to stop in for great Italian dishes. Pros: Great place to eat for a date, with the family or with friends; excellent service, friendly staff, great menu selection. Cons: I want to eat everything there. more

Awsome, great food great service....... 2/16/2008

What can I say. First you think it's just a pizza place. Well it's more. The food there is so worth the price, the wait and the trip. The staff is great. The pizza margahrita is the best I've ever had and the food rocks. I have lived in Brooklyn 34 years and have tried many places this place is hands down the best. \r \r \r \r Pros: Great food as well as pizza ..... Cons: I want to eat everything.... more

I've grew up across the street from Casa Bella, their pizza is awesome... the vodka slice and capriosa slice( diced tomatoes and onions) my personal favorites. Their pastas are in large portrions with good sauces. I recommand Shrimp Vodka and Sausage Farfelle. Well worth it Pros: Food, family owned and operated Cons: Not too fancy more
