Highly recommend...I'm totally hooked now! I have had one colonic before and it was so so...this time I was totally comfortable b/c of the atmosphere in the spa and the experience of the therapist. I felt sooo much better afterwards and I have been back three times since. more

i got my facial from jennifer for the second time she is simply amazing. she has very sesetive hands which is greate for the facial massage .i felt relaxed relived and felt like i got a new skin. highly recomened Jennifer. Pros: very relaxing Cons: nothing more

She does unbelivable relaxing facial massage, and plus the facial overall was good,. i felt refreshed, cleaned and smooth. she is very friendly, yet kept proffesionalism, first. overall she is greate and she does greate job!!! For as long as i could remember i had problems with my skin. then i went to Luna salon to get my hair done, where i met Jennifer. She gave me a skin analys. And told me what was the problem , then she gave me a facial which i felt greate after. she recomnded the right products that should be used for my particulas skin type and condition. i know have a better understanding of my skin and a better skin. I love this place! The people are very approachable, helpful and knowledgeable. Their front desk staff is by far the most competent and friendly I have seen. The atmosphere is warm and pleasant.All the treatments are great!!!The facial( Kamila) was grerat and my skin feels and looks amayzing. Definitely one of the best salons in the area. Bad Color Job! 5/12/2008

I went to get highlights on my hair, and I recall that my colorist was Oksana (from what I can remember). While she did listen to my ideas and she seemed to understand what I had wanted, the result was really ridiculous and it turns out that she didn't really understand. I have naturally dark hair and I wanted brown highlights. She colored all my roots with one color, and, she did the highlights. So that means that for the strands that were supposed to left alone (dark, natural haircolor), she colored the roots (for practically the entire head) for some reason but that left the rest of the strand dark. How does that make any sense? Plus, after a while, the color that was supposed to be brown became more and more orangey/blond as time went by. It was never really brown to begin with, but whatever. Just the other day I went to another salon in Brooklyn (Color Arts Salon on 86th St. between 17th & 19th Ave.) to correct the mess that was left from the past. Pros: Sanitary; Nice Decor Cons: Possible language barrier with a Russian colorist; Don't get coloring done here! more

You must try Luna salon!!! All the ladies are great, especially Ira, I've never had such an tender wax job and boy did my husband like the shape :) I tried soo many different salons and no one can ever get the shape for my nails right and Ira did. Best Salon 3/12/2008

Go see Ira for manicures and pedicures here! I have been getting my nails done for the last few years and I can honestly say, she is the best! She is incredibly thorough and gets my feet and hands looking and feeling beautiful (and believe me, they are not starting off that way at all)! Also, she does the most amazing waxes - my recommendation would be go for the brazillian, there is nothing better. Ira is the best in the city and her prices are etremely reasonable. more

Atmosphere+overall service are excellent! 3/9/2008

It is quite certainly one of the best service and overall atmosphere in the area for a beauty salon. Not too mention that you get excellent treatments from facials, hair cuts to manicures and tanning; you get excellent deal for a buck on NYC scale. If you did not get your coffee of herbal tea, whatever you are up for, you will be offered that and more! Accommodating, understanding and friendly stuff, but most importantly excellent work! Irina did an amazing job with my nails! Thank you! My last experiences w/ Marina, hair stylist was awesome, my unmanageable hair are now easier to manage. Thank you! Cool Salon, everyone is so nice. I have been coming here for over 4 years. They always treat me great, give me feel very welcome . Sergy did exactly what I wanted and realy loved the way I looked and felt when I left. The products they priamarily carry '' Loreal professionnel'', Hair looks amathing!!! The Citysearch reviews were excellent, so I figured I'd give it a try.My experience at Luna Salon wos absolutely wondeful!!!! The decor was very zen, and the staff was so helpful and friendly. The people there are so nice and helpful with all of my annoying questions. I'm so happy I finally found one beauty salon I can go to for everything.Thank you guys!!! I can't say enough good things about this salon. It was hard to find a place in Brooklyn but this is a great place. I am made to feel welcome and special. Luna salon really made my day, and proved that not only do they have great hair services. I really look forward to getting my hair done here, I think I have seen every stylist at some point. I have always left feeling like a movie star. I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!! The staff was so freindly .I had an overall great experience with my hair and will be going back as a regular client.I highly recommend that you try it !!!! more

Great cut, Great service 11/24/2007

I walked in and was promptly greeted...very friendly. I was offered tea, coffee, I was waiting for my stylist...and throughout my visit. My stylist was very willing to sit and talk to me about what I wanted done. I was a little all over the place, but she took the time to really figure out what it was that I was trying to say. I got one of the best haircuts I have gotten ...My hair looks fantastic..I love this place! Pros: Great cuts, fun staff Cons: attitude wise. more

The service was amazing, the price was affordable and they did such a great job! I would definitely recommend them to anyone.The plaise is perfect, and the staff was really wonderful.Aksana did wonders! My hair never looked better with a blow-dry!! It?s been 3 days and my hair still looks amazing! I also enjoyed the manicure, pedicure and waxed eye brow treatment( with Irina).People......you need to check this place out!!!!! I had never been here before but saw all the great reviews on city search and decided to give it a try. This salon has such a great, laid-back atmosphere. Everyone is really nice and professional. I had blonde highlights and a haircut with Aksana, who did an awesome job. My color looked amazing, natural (which I requested, though they can do more dramatic blondes too) and really healthy afterwords.Aksana also took the time to discuss other options with me to make sure I got what I wanted. I would highly recommed this salon to anyone who is tired of noisy salons where you just feel cattle prodded and end up paying a fortune for something you don't like. Money spent at Luna is worth it. more

Amazing service and style!!! 10/22/2007

I have been coming to this place for a couple of years now. The interior is beautiful, it looks and feels like a posh salon but with incomparable prices. The staff is very attentive. They even serve cookies and tea while you wait! Specifically, I owe my hair-life to Serge. He always listens to my ideas, and presents his own when I run out of stuff. In the end, I have always left happy. Always! He cuts and styles my hair with a finesse that only a pro can do. I struggle unsuccesfully for an hour for what he does in ten minutes. Not to mention the color. I think their products are from France, but either way, they are very good quality. And I would know, having went through a few disasters years ago. GEAT SERVICE!!!.... 10/20/2007

This was my first time at Luna Salon. I had my hair done by Aksana. Aksana was very personable, friendly and easy to share with. She recommended that I get my hair cut in layers & highlighted (it was long and straight). Once she was finished and I looked in the mirror I was in love with my hair. The highlights were the perfect color for my skin tone and the style was excellent. I still had the lengh of long hair but it looked fuller and healthier. I would recommend her to anyone looking for some creativity, fresh new look and something more fashionable. Call now and ask for Aksana more
