Kmart Stores

It still Kmart Some times I wonder why I practically live there. The one we have here in Tacoma, Wa is such a friendly place, and they are truly friends, they seem to have big smiles even to the end of there shifts. They are alway having good sales and what I like is you don't have to rush there to fight the crowds to get the sale items, they always seem to order enough for everybody, even if its much later in the day. If you can't find something and you really want it they will even order it for you and with in the month they will sometimes have it added to their inventory. I don't know of another store around here that actually there for the people. If their is I just can't find it because I spend my time in kmart, until my husband say enough now I miss dinner and it's time for bed can we go to our other home now!!!! more

I dig this Kmart, because it's totally old school. I mean, it's got that 70s grime that's not dirty, yet it's not clean either. You know that you have to sanitize your hands here. And the old Tacoma hardcore blue hairs shop here, as they did when their now 40 year old offspring were children. Kinda reminds me of Woolworth's! I dig it, because it's got some great deals once in a while, and thank the Good Lord, it's not packed like a Walmart or the other Kmart in Lakewood. We went here for our Christmas stocking shopping, and it was surprisingly easy to find good prices and lots of stuff. And you can't beat the location, so close to everything in that area of Tacoma. I don't know why, I just out and out dig it. more

K-Mart on 6th Avenue is one of the last remaining K-Marts in the state. Perhaps it's because they're so similar to other stores like Target and Fred Meyer, with the lack of customer service and available staff working against them. There's almost never anyone at the checkout counter so you often have to stand in line right next to five empty checkout stands. However, they do carry some useful and reasonably-priced items. I go out of my way to go there for cat litter, since theirs is the best-priced I have found. more
