The Scene
Lurking in one of Las Vegas' ubiquitous strip-malls, this Greek and Italian restaurant could suffer from anonymity but for its live music, dancing and great service. The villa type decor with black tablecloths and chairs and faded silk flowers might deter some, but when the music really gets going it doesn't matter.
The Food
The selection of items is ample, with Italian outweighing the Greek. Chicken enjoys the most attention in varieties of fresh red, white, and brown sauces. The homemade veal or cheese raviloi with tomato and basil, alfredo, or pesto sauce are worthy offerings, and seafood is a strongly featured genre as well. Reommended is Seafood Fra Diavolo, a combination of clams, mussels, and other seafood over pasta. A traditional Greek dish, Spanicopita, a type of rich pie, is made of filo dough and filled with spinach and feta cheese.
Item not to go without
Served as an appetizer, the stuffed grape leaves are worth ordering to accent a Greek meal. They are available either with ground beef and vegetarian.
