You would not believe the service and food. Your portions were huge, I had a garden salad that was a meal in itself. I had the seafood platter, oh, my, the scallops were out of this world. My husband had the catfish platter, and had the regular portion, he said he would have twice as much catfish if he ordered the large (and the regular had 6 fish fillets), And the prices are so reasonable for the quality, quantity and service. Of course the view of the Ohio river and the Belle of Louisville, and the Jefferson Queen topped off the night. Pros: Service Unbelievable more

Great seafood meal and an unbelievable view of the river. 10/6/2008

Couldn't believe how good the fish was. Seems like most of the other seafood restaurants in town are using cheaper fish than they used to but not at Kingfish. My wife had the oysters and raved about how good they were. Plus along with the view of the Downtown Louisville they even had a live band playing which made for an awesome atmosphere. It's also refreshing that it is a locally owned restaurant and not a huge chain. Pros: fish, view more

Best for Fried Seafood - Excellent Fish Sandwiches 11/14/2006

Great place for a family get together. Best bets are any number of the fried seafood combinations. Always comfortable and reliable. Crowds get quite large at the riverfront on Friday and Saturday evenings. more
