In general, the staff has treated us good. Just wanted to express our sincere thanks for helping us. We were very happy with the care that was recieved. more

There are many that I would like to appreciate when they handled my care. Carmen, in housekeeping, has been extremely helpful and compassionate with me. She is a very good-hearted person. Also, nurses Nicole and Maggie have been wonderful. There are so many that has made me look forward to seeing them walk into my room. Hamed and Shailah in Rehab have been excellent. My occupational therapist Diane has been exceptional. Lastly, my Case Manager Robin has been great. She is very nice and has spent time and has spoken with me at length. It feels good to know that people can still be personal with others. more

Everyone here at this hospital has been great. They have multiple staff members always checking on me. It almost seems like they are one big family. They have taught me about my medication management all the way to managing my insulin for my diabetes. I have been truly appreciative. I have been happy with everything about my care and stay and have not had any bad experiences. Even the housekeepers are friendly and always greet me when coming into my room. more

The doctors and nurses have treated me with respect and always listened to my needs. They always explained what they were going to do with me and made sure my care was important. The staff were courteous and kind. I would be comfortable to have my family here as well. more

The staff here at Kindred is amazing - everyone! But, there are a few bright spots that, through assignment, have touched my father (Taro) - in the most special way. Tuyen is now a "daughter" of my father. She has been so kind, so helpful, so full of energy, so amazingly cheerful that my father jokes with her that she is now his younger daughter. We love the way she has comforted my father in this time of extreme need. She never tires and always gives, gives, and gives to my father. Her smile alone makes my father feel so spcial and warm inside. He has told us on numerous occassions how thoughtful and helpful she has been to him. I am here with my father for 6-7 hours each day and she has made such an impact on him that my sister and I truly believe my father is getting better because of her - his road ahead is long and so we would love to have her be with my father all the time. I know we have to share her with the other patients - but, we still hope she can spend more time caring for him. Tuyen, Isaac, Jesus, Diana, Lidi, and Flur - my Dad's little family of care. Each person is having such a positive impact on my father and my family. Tuyen is my Dad's new "younger daughter" according to my dad - that alone should tell you how kind, sensitive, and caring Tuyen has been. She goes way above and beyond what she needs to - whether it's translating doctor speak, warming up my father's home foods when neither my sister or me can be there, to just making sure my dad is warm and comfortable w/ his blanket. It's the little things that make the difference. Isaac is the RT - making sure my dad can breathe comfortably. But, not just admin the treatments he also goes above and beyond the call - whether it's carefully and gently strapping the breathing mask on my father so he is bothered as little as possible (day/night) to helping adjust my dad's bed position, ro just warmly smiling and caring when my dad needs the extra touch. Jesus helps my father do everything from doing #2, to talking to him about anything, to running his bp, temp #s to just being our "Chewy" -his nickname he told us about. He is always smiling and cheerful and funny. That goes such a long way when my dad feels as badly as he does. Diana is making my dad stronger - she's his physical therapist and she guides my father w/ such a gentle and assuring hand that I feel so comfortable and confident he'll recover as quickly as possible Lidi and Flur are the backbone of the operations - not just administering but even doing the all-important small things like feeding my father when neither my sis or myself can't be there to warning up my dad's home foods to just smiling at my dad and cheering him when he is up and alert on his good days. How do you put a value on caring and kindness? You can't. And when it's ur loved one that's hurting it's absolutely priceless. Thank you Tuyen, Isaac, Jesus, Diana, Lidi, and Flur - you continue to be such a rock for my sister and I to stand on during this trying time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I only had a few hiccups but overall, I believe that they have taken good care of me. I really enjoyed how rehab was helping me with my balance. The rehab team was really good with me. The respiratory threrapist was very persistant; which was very good for me. The food was good but I really enjoyed the strawberries and fruit. The doctors have communicated well with me and I like how my pulmonologist, Dr. Hami, will be at my nursing facility when I discharge. I am very comfortable with him. I am very thankful for my representative Joe. I was very comfortable knowing that I can call him anytime when I needed something. more

The doctors, nurses, and staff all have been great! We have been greatly appreciative on the communication and the care that has been provided. I have gotten a whole lot stronger and was able to go to an acute rehabilitation center to continue the progress I recieved at Kindred. My family and I cannot thank you enough. Also, thank you for still being available after we had discharged. more

Everyone here and from Fountain Valley has been great and treating me very well. Nothing but great or nice things could be said. The food has been great; especially now that I can have food. Each of my surgeries have been successful, just pending one more. The rehab team has been great-I have been able to walk about three laps and also outdoors. My recovery has been excellent and comfortable because of the staff. more

Nurse Angelica is perfect. It is hard to get a good nurse and she is perfect. I have gotten everything that I have needed. She is very nice. I thank her so much. Thank you! more

The nurses have been great with me, no complaints. I have been doing a lot of rehab and exercise laps around the unit. I am trying to get back on my feet and the rehab team has been doing a great job in motivating me to do so. Thanks! more

Outside of some minor concerns, everyone has been pretty nice. The Physical Therapist Laurie and Mary Ann were great. Also, Tomas was was great. Lastly, Pam in Quality was very helpful and followed up to make sure my concerns were addressed. Thank you! more

I am not sure about Physical and Occupational Therapy, but the the Speech Therapist Emily was excellent and is very much appreciated! Dr. Pang was very sensitive and understanding of the patient's goals and needs. more

Being in hospital is never easy, but the kind staff have been so attentative to my needs. Physical Therapy is very friendly. Denise has walked me around and I enjoy our conversations. The housekeeper for my room is just a sweetheart. She is very nice. Thank you for everyone who helped me discharge home. more

The nursing staff has been all good to me, very sweet. Rehabilitation team and doctors have all been pleasant. The physical therapist who walked me around has been superb. The food was okay for being hospital food. I am going home today, thanks to the people that helped me at Kindred. more

We thank you for taking care of our father. We thank Kindred Hospital, the doctors, and the CNA's for the team work. We love the Kindred employees and all the workers. They all are very nice. more

I felt very comfortable and believe that I had excellent care from all the doctors and staff. I would like to thank the doctors who took such good care of me. All the nurses were great. Can't remember their names but they were fantastic. Thank you to the kitchen staff for getting me food that I was able to keep down. I am very grateful to all who helped me recover. To the nurses aids for getting me to the showers, that had made me feel better. Thanks to all! more

The doctors and staff have always been pleasant with providing care. The room was nice, clean, and was quiet for the most part. We were discharged home and the staff was very clear on the instructions to continue the care. more
