Kim?s Academy of Dance is a great place to gain confidence, poise, and lasting friendships by studying with encouraging and supportive teachers in a non-competitive environment. We believe dancing should be fun and affordable. The goal of Kim?s Academy is to keep prices as low as possible and still produce well trained, dedicated, elite dancers. Our committed staff helps students develop proper technique in all areas of dance while building lifelong performance skills. We offer a wide variety of challenging classes from ages three through adult.
Classes we offer:
-Combination Classes- 1 hour long and include ballet, tap, and tumbling. Important for younger dancers because we teach fundamentals of all dance.
-Lyrical Dancing- We suggest taking this class with a combination class because of the advanced body movements. Offering special classes to 2nd through 6th graders.
-Ballet Technique- A must for those dancers interested in Pointe. 6th, 7th, and 8th grade eligible with a required 1 year before going on your toes to dance. Very difficult but highly rewarding style of dance.
-Tumbling- These classes focus on strength, agility, flexibility, and coordination. They go hand in hand with dance classes and are highly recommended.
-Hip Hop- An urban dance form that involves popping, locking, tutting, isolations, stalls and intricate footwork. Get ready to sweat and bring your tennis shoes!
-Break Dancing- A unique hip-hop style that allows dancers to fuse styles together for unique and beautiful compositions.
-Junior and Senior Company- Company classes are by invitation only and are for our most serious dancers. These dancers are ready to take their dancing to the next level and participate in multiple classes a week.

-Boys Tap and Tumbling- Do you have a son that wants to be the next Fred Astaire? This class is designed for energetic boys who want to learn basic skills and make some noise, while learning some moves to impress the ladies.
